Besides Geiger Performance (GeigerCars) is Wolf Racing one of the ultimate contact in this country for tuning the Ford Mustang. The company has been on duty since 1979 and has now launched a particularly potent version of the American muscle car for its 40 anniversary. The tuner from the Swabian Neuenstein brings a series of 7 potent Mustangs that present themselves as "One of 7" and based on the current facelift Mustang GT. And the highlight of the modifications by Wolf Racing is clearly the compressor conversion for the 5,0-liter V8. This ensures that the output rises to a stately 735 PS & 880 Nm and even outshines a Ferrari 488 Pista. And even that 770 PS Shelby GT500 Widebody is not inaccessible to the wolf variant. In terms of torque, the German tuner has even managed to outdo the Shelby flagship.

more torque like the GT500

With the 880 NM mentioned, the compressor provides 33 NM in addition to the 847 NM of the GT500. And the conversion of the engine is even based on original Ford performance parts from the USA. Because the optional 302 Performance Package from Ford also includes an Edelbrock compressor that Wolf Racing also uses. The result is an increase in performance of a huge 285 PS & 331 Nm torque that can be installed in vehicles with a six-speed manual transmission as well as in copies with the new ten-speed automatic. The sprint to 100 km / h should be shortened to approx. 4 seconds thanks to the new differential lock, which is a real announcement, especially in view of the Mustang's lack of all-wheel drive. And the difference to the series is particularly clear above 100 km / h. The tuner states that the sprint to 200 km / h only takes 10,8 seconds and that the propulsion is only stopped at over 300 km / h.

Also a sports exhaust system is installed

In addition, the Wolf Mustang "One of 7" has a coilover suspension that can be adjusted in rebound and compression levels and a new set of wheels. Wolf installs 9,0 and 10,5 x 21 inch forged wheels with 255/30 and 305/25 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S slippers. The anniversary model is available in black and race red and can also be recognized optically due to the additional stickers and the discreet carbon rear spoiler. Inside the Wolf Mustang has installed a new steering wheel, there is a badge that indicates the limitation and sports seats with the company logo and color-coordinated seams.
