While sales of the new Wuling Hongguang Mini EV are going through the roof, the brand is already planning its expansion into other markets. Driven by the success of the small electric speedster, some other models, which will be available with both combustion and electric motors, will also be launched on the market in the coming years. There are even rumors that the Hongguang range will be expanded to include larger models, including a large SUV named Hongguang X, which was presented as a concept car some time ago. But until that happens, the little Mini EV will hold the flags high, and with great success. Of course, Wuling would like to cement this, and always lays it down Sound editions of the city runabout to keep up the interest in the cart.
Exterior with horns catches the eye!
The first eye-catchers are of course those horns, which in chinese year of the ox, to symbolize a modern ox cart, and in our opinion just look crazy. You'd think it's a devil's edition if you put the horns together with the red-black foiling considered, which looks harmonious, and somehow perfect to them as well red-black horns fits. To give the little one a sportier character, were also 13-inch alloy wheels im Six spoke design mounted on which Dongfeng tires in format 155 / 50 R13 were raised. We think they are extremely cool red painted caliperswho live behind the tiny 13-inchers. The front was also changed, and the lower part of the grill was made sportier by having a Checkered flag optics got.
In addition, the designers brought one front spoiler with side Trim which is quite athletic. There was also a fat one at the rear roof spoiler built in, which in our opinion is a bit too thick. The black one “21” on the bonnet should probably stand for the year 2021. The foiling also shows a two-dimensional Ox pattern, which can be found above the rear fenders and protrudes far into the doors. The black one looks really cool too rear diffuser out, but it probably has no real use. We think that the small car looks quite successful and that it looks great if you refine it using such a knitting pattern.
Electric motor with 27 HP provides propulsion.
It is clear that the Wuling with his 27 hp electric motorthat after all 85 Newtonmeter torque generated, is only something for the city or the country road. With the top speed of about 105 km/h it is not worth driving on the autobahn. Nevertheless, the car shows that it is perfectly suited as a mobility project of the future, and the sales figures confirm that Wuling is right to have developed such a vehicle.
Our conclusion on this Wuling:
The boys and girls from Wuling have shown courage for a long time by repeatedly causing a sensation with spectacular studies and special editions. In our opinion this is also Edition engines of the Hongguang Mini EV extremely successful, and raises the question of whether manufacturers like Smart or Fiat might not also have such variants of theirs small and microcars present on special occasions.
