XPeng or Xiaopeng Motors is a Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles. The company was founded in 2014, and one of the co-founders and main supporters was He Xiaopeng, who also gave the company its name. He is currently the chairman of the young company, which is headquartered in Guangzhou. Xiaopeng Motors has also been listed on New York's Wall Street since 2020, although the first customer vehicles were only delivered in 2019. Four models are currently being sold, three of which are already available in Europe. In terms of price, the brand is positioned as a cheaper alternative to Tesla, but far from a cheap home. On the Chinese home market, tuning is playing an increasingly important role for XPeng vehicles, and the four-door luxury coupé P7 is enjoying increasing popularity in the tuning scene.
