There are things that don't exist! Who would cram the 4,4 liter V8 twin-turbo engine of the BMW X5 M with factory 555 PS and 750 Nm torque into a rock-solid Zil 130 truck? The Russians, of course! Youtuber Konstantin Zarucki (YouTube AcademeG) did that and modified the ancient vice a bit more. For example, there was a new suspension and a modified wheel / tire combination. The curb weight of 4300 kg remained pretty much. Still, the Zil130 manages to accelerate to 5,5 kilometers per hour in just 100 seconds. The background is that there was even an increase in performance on insane 700 PS. Take a look at the story.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
