Porsche customers can now purchase an innovative insurance product that flexibly takes into account the customer's individual mileage. With the Porsche Car Policy Flex, policyholders pay a basic monthly fee and an additional premium for each kilometer driven. No prepayment is required, billing occurs at the end of the month. The new insurance product is now available for all current 911, Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne with Porsche Connect. With the help of Porsche Connect Partner Services, the mileage can be transferred directly from the vehicle. The customer does not need any additional hardware.

Michael Löffler, Chief Marketing Officer of Porsche Financial Services GmbH: “The increasing networking of vehicles opens up opportunities in the design of motor vehicle insurance that are as individual as the Porsche sports cars and their drivers. We want to use these opportunities. That's why we're expanding our current insurance portfolio with a data-based tariff.” Another plus: The Porsche CarPolicy Flex can be canceled on a monthly basis.
"With the Porsche CarPolicy Flex, we offer our customers a tailor-made product," adds Arthur Willmann, Head of Digital Commerce at Porsche AG. “Privacy is the top priority. Based on the explicit consent of the customer, only the number of kilometers driven is transmitted. No information on driving behavior or other data is collected.” Another advantage for the customer is that the annual mileage no longer has to be estimated. This also eliminates the need to report to the insurance company if the mileage changes.
