Wunderlich EDITION 35: Exclusive GS passenger bench

Wunderlich's sporty EDITION 35 passenger seat for the BMW R 1250 GS. On the occasion of the company's 35th anniversary, the BMW specialists presented various promotions and components at Wunderlich 2020. These undoubtedly include the two sensational Wunderlich interpretations R 1250 GS EDITION 35 # 1 and EDITION 35 # 2, each based on the current BMW R 1250 GS. # 2 was designed by the Ringen-based company to be extremely sporty and, among other things, created a passenger seat that should definitely meet the high sporting demands of this special GS. Since # 2 was presented by Wunderlich managing director Frank Hoffmann in August, numerous inquiries have been received as to whether, and if so when, Wunderlich would offer this slim, low and purist passenger seat. Frank Hoffmann: “Here it is! The EDITION 35 "AKTIVKOMFORT" passenger seat naturally takes up the grandiose color layout of our EDITION 35 # 2. The flanks, which are partially offset in white and blue, emphasize the sporty character of our GS interpretation, which is clearly stylistically continued in this passenger seat.

In addition to the color scheme, the interest of many of our customers was particularly related to the unique sporty shape, which is also expressed in the seat height that has been lowered by 40 mm! "Wunderlich produces the passenger bench seat with a specifically adapted 40D seat contour due to the 3 mm reduced height. The shape and inclination of the elaborately processed, progressively constructed, two-layer bench core support the ergonomically advantageous, natural posture of the pelvis when driving. The support contour integrated in the front area of the seat, which also provides a secure hold when braking, is flatter and less pronounced than the standard passenger seats from Wunderlich - this is due to the stringently sporty character of the seat, which is clearly in the foreground in this project was standing. So integrated, it is sporty, relaxed, active and safe.
