The BONZZOO – Wunderlich introduces the slightly different GONZZOO!

The Wunderlich GONZZOO has been available in stainless steel and black for 2 years now. The exhaust deflector minimizes the roar of the GS at driver and passenger head height, which is often perceived as unpleasant and lamented when driving with suitcases. The noise reduction ensures relaxed and safe driving. Another undisputed advantage: depending on the free field conditions, the subjective perception of a significant reduction in noise can be determined when the GS drives past. So far so good.

More and more GONZZOO drivers suffer from being overlooked because they are not heard.

More and more GONZZOO Drivers suffer from being overlooked because they are overheard because of the GONZZOO. And this is exactly what turns out to be the core of the poodle. Due to the effective noise level reduction of the GONZZOO, around 19% of the GS drivers feel annoyed and uncomfortable because nobody looks around at them when driving past. It's a dilemma: the noise drives you crazy and provokes angry looks, if you're driving quietly you're simply overlooked.

The BONZZOO – Wunderlich introduces the slightly different GONZZOO!

As is well known, Wunderlich follows the motto "Nothing is impossible!". This is how extraordinary accessory components were created, such as side stand lighting for the BMW K 1600 GT and GTL. It is available in the online shop for €99,90 (item no. 35481-000). The latest product also falls into the same category of completely exceptional solutions. After the efficient analysis of the situation, the Wunderlich developers came up with the solution within a short time: the GONZZOO should continue to be quiet. But if desired also visually conspicuous and clearly visible.

Hold on!

Wunderlich has now added an alternative to its range and is offering the GONZZOO in – hold on – gold. The production takes place in the in-house goldsmith and engraving workshop. The gold is supplied by the Krueger company from Cape Town in South Africa. A total of 7 ounces of 31 grams each are processed on the BONZZOO, which is almost 220 grams. To ensure that the gold withstands the mechanical and thermal requirements on the motorcycle, the accessory specialists use a newly developed, patented alloy called BL-1124-ING. Randy Krueger explains: “We foam 999 gold for this alloy with 1/7 titanium, therefore 999+143=1142, so we gain the necessary heat and material strength. The material has the advantage that refineries can separate it again, make it liquid if you're not liquid - you know what I mean (laughs)."

The price of the gold BONZZOO BL-1142-ING depends on the current price of gold - currently it can be expected to be around US$13.500, plus alloy, plus manufacturing. Anyone interested in the interesting BONZZOO BL-1142-ING will have to wait a while, because it is only manufactured "bespoke".

Thought through!

  • The warm GONZZOO causes burns and is therefore secured against theft. Because the following still applies: Better safe than sorry.

Of course, that was far from it. Our tuning magazine has countless other tuning reports in stock. And also with the topic Motorcycle and motorcycle tuning we meet regularly.
