BMW was founded in 1916, but at that time still under the name Bayerische Flugzeugwerke München. At that time the company was producing aircraft engines. In the coming year, however, the company was given a different name and called itself Bayerische Motoren Werke GmbH and then finally changed to Bayerische Motoren Werke AG. The start of the construction of motorcycles was given at the Berlin Motor Show in September 1923. The first model was the R 32, developed by Max Friz. And of course there was the R 32 with the world-famous boxer engine. From then on BMW was on the road to success. Today BMW can look back on a successful production of motorcycles, the name alone guarantees quality. Every generation of motorcycles has improved and the motorcycle tuning scene is astonishingly large. Over the years, BMW's motorcycles have become faster, more comfortable and safer. Of course, this development can also be seen in the case of cars; auto-tuning is usually preprogrammed. Every year you can clearly see the development of motorcycles or cars.
