Whether in everyday life, on a long tour or on an adventure trip - for decades, the BMW Motorrad storage space range has stood for perfect solutions when it comes to optimally stowing luggage and travel essentials. With the new Urban Collection, BMW Motorrad is now presenting a further generation of tank bags, a rucksack and side and rear bags in addition to the existing Black Collection. Made from high-quality, easy-care materials (outer material 100% PA with TPU coating, lining 100% PES), they combine durability and functionality with a cool design.
Tank bags Urban Collection.
With different sizes and shapes, the three new tank bags in the Urban Collection cover almost all motorcycle-specific requirements. The Urban Collection Large (GS) tank bag (11 - 16 litres) is designed especially for motorcycles with steeply sloping tank shapes, while the Urban Collection Large tank bag (11 - 16 litres) was developed for machines with semi-circular tank shapes. Finally, the tank bag Urban Collection Small (5 litres) is a third variant available in case not so much storage space is required.
Thanks to the non-slip foam padding on the underside and the strap attachment, the tank bags equipped with removable waterproof inner bags can be easily and securely attached. Buckles at the front and back also make refueling easier. Tie-down straps also allow attachment to the luggage rack or the pillion seat. All tank bags are equipped with a water-repellent and lockable two-way zip on the main compartment, zip-top pocket, cable outlet for a charging cable to the inside and colored inner lining for a better overview. The tank bags Urban Collection Large / (GS) also offer a touch-enabled, waterproof transparent compartment. Vehicle-specific belt connections are available separately for all three models.
Backpack Urban Collection.
The Urban Collection backpack with a volume of 20 liters is the ideal companion for a day trip or the way to work and convinces with practical functions. The waterproof main compartment with a water-repellent, rubberized two-way zipper is equipped with a laptop compartment (up to 15''). Two outer pockets offer practical storage space for things that need to be close at hand. A mesh pocket on the inside lid, colored lining for a better overview, a carrying handle and adjustable shoulder, chest and hip straps complete the range of functions. Reflective strips ensure improved visibility.
Side and rear bags Urban Collection.
The side bags Urban Collection large (16 litres) and Urban Collection small (10 litres) each offer a waterproof main compartment, volumes that can be variably adjusted using compression straps and reflective strips for improved visibility. Thanks to an ingenious quick-release system, the Urban Collection large side bag can also be attached to the motorcycle without straps. Furthermore, it has a waterproof and removable inner bag, in which a padded 15" laptop compartment, key holder, compartment for smartphone, mesh compartment for drinking bottle and a zipped compartment are integrated.
Thanks to their stylish design, stowable handles and large carrying handle, the Urban Collection large and Urban Collection small tail bags always look good off the bike. In the main compartment, which is equipped with colored lining, there is even room for a helmet thanks to the generous opening, and adjustable straps with buckles ensure a secure hold on the motorcycle. Particularly practical: the zipper for expanding the volume from 50 to 60 liters or from 37 to 45 liters.
