The Dark Knight - Harley-Davidson Breakout "Blackhole" by Melk!

As the Harley-Davidson brought the Breakout model back to the US market a few weeks ago, the experts were impressed. The bike now looks much more aggressive than ever before and should also be able to impress younger motorcyclists instead of just older customers. Today we're introducing you to a 2014 HD Breakout that was rebuilt by French custom bike builders Melk to look more modern than its year of manufacture would suggest. We would like to introduce you to this bike, which already has 13.700 kilometers on the clock.

Number 18 of 36 custom bikes

The good thing about the restyling kit for this Harley-Davidson Breakout is that it can be purchased by any owner of such a machine for the equivalent sum, which is around €28.000. The modifications amount to more than just a complete repaint in the colors Vivid Black, Anthracite and Gunship Metallic.

There are also various accessories, such as footrests, from Performance Machine on the vehicle. In addition, LED turn signals from Thunderbike ensure more attention when turning. A Metzeler rear wheel was also installed, with a width of an impressive 260 millimeters. There are also various OEM components from Harley-Davidson, such as the rims of the custom bike. Last but not least, the seat has been lowered to crouch closer to the asphalt, and a Bassani sports exhaust system ensures a better sound.

A V2 four-stroke petrol engine drives the bike!

Thanks to remapping and the already mentioned sports exhaust system, the gigantic two-cylinder with a displacement of 1,7 liters now delivers a powerful 78 HP and 128 Newton meters of maximum torque. It is shifted via a manual six-speed gearbox and the power is transmitted to the rear wheel. Unfortunately, we have no information on the performance of the bike.
