Honda Germany is pleased to announce that Android AutoTM is now also being integrated into the CRF1100L Africa Twin. The new functions can be installed for the Africa Twin and Africa Twin "Adventure Sports" at your Honda dealer. Customers with an AndroidTM smartphone can then easily use the Android Auto. Android Auto is an easy way to use your phone's features on your motorcycle. The clear visual display and easy-to-use voice commands give you access to Google MapsTM navigation and your favorite music, media and messaging apps.

The first Afrca Twin came to Europe over thirty years ago as the XRV650. In 2016 the CRF1000L appeared as a completely new machine. It inherited both the name, which was derived from the two-cylinder engine that powered the multiple NXR750 of the Paris-Dakar rally of the 1980s, as well as the typical “Africa Twin -DNA”. The Africa Twin has always stood for the balance between performance and weight. This is also the case with the CRF1000L: thanks to its unique, athletic appearance, motor that is easy to use and powerful, comfortable chassis, it is a true all-rounder. And that's why it's popular with globetrotters, commuters and weekend tourists alike. When developing the 2020 CRF1100L Africa Twin, the focus was entirely on off-road driving.
