The new Honda EM1 e celebrates its premiere at the EICMA!

After already announcing the return of the Hornet for the 2023 model year, Honda presented its entire European motorcycle range for the coming season at EICMA in Milan today. Highlights include the return of another Honda legend, a new urban naked bike and the unveiling of the first Honda electric two-wheeler for the European market.

Honda EM1

The EM1 e: is the first Honda EV two-wheeler for customers in Europe and is scheduled for market launch in summer 2023. It is the first model to be unveiled following Honda's announcement that it would offer 2025 or more electric motorcycles worldwide by 2040. The premiere is a significant first step towards achieving the targeted carbon neutrality for the entire motorcycle line up by the 1s. EM stands for Elektro Moped and is aimed at a young target group that wants uncomplicated driving fun in urban areas. The EM1e: is compact with a flat step-through and sleek styling that underscores its uniqueness in the Honda range. Perfect for short urban journeys and efficient, quiet and emission-free driving, the EMXNUMX e: meets modern expectations of urban mobility.

has an electric drive

The Honda EM1 e: has an electric drive that draws its energy from the Honda Mobile Power Pack e: with a focus on durability, reliability and quality. A single charge provides a range of more than 40km, and the Mobile Power Pack (MPP) is designed to withstand varying temperatures, humidity and other conditions. The MPP is a removable battery developed in-house by Honda, allowing for quick and easy removal for charging at home.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
