Husqvarna FS 450 - new Supermoto for the year 2021!

To underline the brand's unwavering commitment to the supermoto segment, Husqvarna Motorcycles presents the FS 450 of the MJ21 - a single-cylinder competition supermoto with state-of-the-art technology, best-in-class ergonomics and traction control as standard. Surrounded by a light frame and modern bodywork, the compact engine of the FS 450 has an output of 46 kW (63 hp), while the revised suspension provides even more playful handling and improved damping properties for even faster lap times. For 2021, the FS 450 also offers a WP XACT fork with AER technology and a new mid-valve damping system, which guarantees a more constant performance of the front suspension. A new 22 mm front wheel axle and an axle offset reduced by 7 mm promise even better steering and optimal maneuverability.

Improvements to the easy-to-adjust WP XACT shock absorber optimize the damping on the rear wheel, while new, low-friction deflection seals further refine the feedback from the suspension. The SOHC motor of the FS 450 starts thanks to an electric starter system at the push of a button and delights the driver with a spontaneous but easily usable power that is evenly delivered via the 5-speed gearbox from Pankl Racing Systems. The functional bodywork of the FS 450, designed for outstanding comfort, has been upgraded with a seat cover with greater grip, which ensures even more control in all conditions. In cooperation with a 310 mm brake disc, a radially mounted 4-piston brake caliper from Brembo and an attached brake cylinder guarantee outstanding deceleration with good controllability. A 1-piston brake caliper and a 220 mm brake disc work at the rear.

Alpina rims and Bridgestone tires

The FS 450 comes as standard with premium components such as a CNC-milled fork bridge, Alpina rims and Bridgestone tires, a rear frame made of carbon fiber composite material and a hydraulic coupling from MAGURA. Together they ensure unmatched Supermoto performance at the highest level. The current collection of the Husqvarna Motorcycles Functional Apparel product line offers the right outfit for every bike, meets the highest safety standards and was developed for racing drivers who want to be perfectly prepared for the next race. In addition, a dedicated range of Husqvarna Motorcycles technical accessories enables drivers to further improve the performance and appearance of their Husqvarna FS 450. The Husqvarna FS 450 generation 2021 will soon be available from all authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers in Germany.
