Uncompromising: the KTM motocross series for 2024!

After the introduction of the completely redesigned KTM SX models for 2023, the KTM motocross range for 2024 is now at the starting line and brings with it revised suspension settings and a brand new look. Slimmer, lighter and perfectly controllable by the rider, the 2023 KTM SX models made it straight to the top: they are the most innovative and powerful READY TO RACE motocross production motorcycles ever built. A quick reminder: The 2023 KTM SX models feature a chassis designed from the ground up, built on a hydroformed, laser cut and robot welded frame, a two piece polyamide reinforced aluminum subframe and a hollow cast aluminum swingarm.

Thanks to specially calculated parameters for longitudinal and torsional strength, this frame offers excellent feedback to the driver, as well as excellent energy absorption and stability at high speed. The 2024 KTM SX and SX-F range not only retain these advances but also offer revised chassis settings for better balance and comfort. These improvements are also clearly noticeable in the curve.

On the rear wheel, a WP XACT shock absorber with excellent damping properties ensures unsurpassed traction and energy absorption. At the same time, the WP XACT 48 mm front fork offers higher puncture resistance and damping. In addition, the fork remains stable during a hard landing and subsequent strong acceleration.

the best driver triangle in its class

From an ergonomic point of view, the 2024 KTM SX and SX-F models continue to have the best rider triangle in their class, allowing for brilliant knee contact, especially when standing on the footpegs. In combination with the additional contact surfaces on the bodywork and the flat seat bench profile, this improves handling and mobility, as well as the rider's self-confidence. On the outside, the all-new graphics draw attention. As with last year's model, they are inspired by the early 1990s.

The developers of the 2024 CTG opted for purple accents, a nod to the days when color was a signature trait of KTM styling. Orange and white shades continue to dominate the look and are applied using proven in-mold technology. Equipped with the 2 MX2022 championship title, rider-friendly chassis, unmatched performance and modern technology for riders of all ages and skill levels, the 2024 KTM SX and SX-F range leave the motocross competition far behind.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
