Marvin Musquin, who made his comeback after an injury and finished the year in a good fourth place in the 450MX category, also relied on the same bike for his seven top 3 results in the 2020 AMA Pro Motocross Series.
2021 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition
Based on this experience and countless training and racing laps, KTM gave the latest generation of the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION some important upgrades for 2021. The new bike looks very similar to the racing machines from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in the Supercross and Motocross series. With its orange powder-coated frame, factory rims, its orange anodized factory triple clamp, a composite engine guard, a Hinson clutch cover and an orange sprocket, the bike creates a direct connection to the factory machines of Cooper and Marvin. The specs also include items like an Akrapovič rear muffler, a factory start holeshot system, a semi-floating front brake disc and a brake disc protector.
Connectivity unit in the handlebar pad
The standard connectivity unit in the handlebar pad is another noteworthy feature of the 2021 generation. This enables riders to connect to the bike immediately via the myKTM app without having to purchase additional components. With the help of the myKTM app, drivers of all levels can adjust the MOTOR settings. The ability of the myKTM app to make SUSPENSION recommendations based on the personal characteristics of the driver is another bonus of the myKTM app. Every rider of a KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION from model year 2021 can use a few menu options and wipers on their smartphone to adapt their bike to the conditions and terrain.
