The year-end sprint is approaching and the date for the publication of the new racing calendar is approaching. This can only mean one thing: the presentation of the 450 model year KTM 2023 SX-F Factory Edition and associated equipment to get as close as possible to the prestige and potential of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. The latest limited edition version of the outstanding dirt bike hits the grid in time for the AMA Supercross field to prepare for the start of its longest and most spectacular season yet.
KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition
The 450 KTM 2023 SX-F Factory Edition is a fully optimized and race-ready motorcycle based on the current KTM 450 SX-F, which reached new levels of handling, performance, engineering and competitiveness when it was launched in summer 2022. The SOHC 4-stroke engine delivers an impressive 68 hp and weighs less than 27 kg. The engine delivers impressive power and is complemented by launch control, quick shifter, dual maps, a redesigned airbox, exhaust system and a host of other modifications to make the bike even more title-worthy.
The changed ergonomics have refined the so-called "driver's triangle" for perfect centralization and a better driving experience. The innovative "anti-squat" concept between the frame and chassis (with a reinforced aluminum subframe) complements the revised engine position for improved centralization. The entire bike is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware from WP Suspension. The fork and rear shock are easier than ever to adjust thanks to the tool-less configuration. The chassis benefits from refined settings gleaned from all research and development work and motorsport data.

The new generation of the KTM SX-F models came onto the market in 2022 and immediately conquered the competition. Cooper Webb and Marvin Musquin were both chasing podiums and victory in the AMA 450 SX class, while the KTM 250 SX-F took immediate Grand Prix wins in its category and eventually the MX2 World Championship with Tom Vialle year 2022 brought. The KTM Factory Racing Team rider will compete in the AMA 2023 SX Supercross for the 250 season.
For the 450 model year KTM 2023 SX-F Factory Edition, a whole range of KTM PowerParts were used to improve the function, aesthetics and exclusivity of the model. The bike immediately catches the eye thanks to the orange frame and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics set. These details define the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition on every track and in every terrain. The orange factory racing seat, tires, triple clamp, carbon skid plate, carbon front brake disc and brake disc guard are complemented by an Akrapovič slip-on exhaust, Hinson clutch cover, WP starter and ODI grip set added.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team will be on the grid soon. The stadium lights will come on January 7th at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California for the start of the 2023 AMA Supercross season before 12 races are contested in 17 additional states. This will be followed by the three-race spectacle of October's first SuperMotocross competition. Those riders starting the 450 KTM 2023 SX-F Factory Edition may not match the speed or skill of Musquin, Webb, Aaron Plessinger or Vialle, but will be able to demonstrate similar performance and take their own performance to a new level Raise the level to get a little closer to the dream of great racing.
