Track weapon: the new KTM RC 8C as a factory racing bike!

The new KTM RC 8C is a handcrafted super sports car limited to 100 pieces. This full-blooded track bike uses KTM's own LC8c engine platform (also known from the KTM 890 DUKE R) as its centerpiece. The heart is enclosed in old KTM fashion by a hand-made tubular lattice frame and valuable racing components that have been specially developed for use on the racetrack. The big advantage: Although the KTM RC 8C is incredibly close to a KTM Factory Racing Bike, it neither requires the enormous maintenance effort nor a team of specialists for the service and the individual setup.

The connection to the current design of the KTM RC16 generation is unmistakable. The fairing of the KTM RC 8C is also made of high quality fiberglass reinforced Kevlar fabric. The LC8c DOHC in-line 2-cylinder with 128 hp, 889 cm works below it3 Displacement and 8 valves. The fully adjustable chassis comes from WP Suspension.

The front is sprung by the WP APEX PRO 7543 suspension fork. Handcrafted from high-quality high-tech materials from motorsport, this CLOSED-CARTRIDGE fork with 43 mm inner tube diameter offers maximum damping performance for transparent feedback from the race track. The suspension components of the KTM RC 8C were manufactured under the influence of the experience of the most successful KTM Factory Racing Teams side by side with the development of the KTM RC 16. The spring properties of the WP APEX PRO 7746 shock absorber with preload adjuster can be easily adapted to almost all situations and every rider thanks to the separate high and low-speed compression and rebound adjustment.

Every detail of the KTM 8C RC is geared towards maximum racetrack performance: from the quick-release fuel filler cap and trim parts to the ultra-light Dymag aluminum rims with Pirelli SC1 racing slicks. The intentions of the KTM RC 8C are clear.
The brand new Brembo Stylema installed on the front ensure maximum braking power®-Brake calipers on the floating 290 mm brake discs, while a Brembo 2-piston brake caliper and a 230 mm brake disc mounted on the hub are used at the rear.

In addition, the KTM RC 8C is with the Brembo 19 RCS CORSA CORTA Radial pump equipped. As a result, the driver can adjust the brake engagement point to the desired driving experience with just one screw. Some of these innovations were taken directly from the MotoGP ™ brake cylinders.

The KTM RC 8C uses an AIM MXS 1.2 RACE instrument cluster and a data logger with an integrated GPS function to collect and process the data. All information is shown on a 5-inch TFT display with integrated data recording, whereby the data can later be analyzed in the AIM Race Studio.
