Wunderlich's brand new "MARATHON" windshield for the BMW S 1000 XR also follows the principle "Form follows function"! It fits seamlessly into the large phalanx of the Wunderlich "MARATHON" windows that BMW motorcyclists all over the world rely on when they want effective wind and weather protection. They always convince with regard to design. In addition to the function, all Wunderlich components also follow the leitmotif of the integrated design, which the Ringen company applies to every model.

The result is a convincing and proven windshield that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of ergonomics, protective function, functionality, precision, materiality and design. The streamlined silhouette, paired with solid mechanical stability, ensure a pleasant laminar air flow and maximum wind and weather protection. The contour, the aerodynamics of which is meticulously calculated and only given its final, fine polish in extensive driving tests, has a high recognition value without being obtrusive. A disc that underlines the character of the BMW S 1000 XR with its integrated shape. And that even though it is much more generously dimensioned than the original disc!

Clear view, without optical errors!

The high-quality workmanship and experience that is typical of Wunderlich is easy to see when looking through it: a clear view without distorting optical errors that are irritating. Another trademark: The hand-polished edges of the panes, which make separate edge protection superfluous, and the simple assembly, to which Wunderlich attaches great importance to all components. These product features apply to both lens variants, the transparent and the smoke-gray tinted one. In other words, properties that stand for relaxed driving and pronounced long-distance comfort and thus - incidentally - increase passive safety.

The windshield offers optimal relief from wind pressure for the head, upper body and shoulders as well as a noticeable reduction in turbulence and therefore uses its full potential on long and short stretches and at any time of the year. The »MARATHON« screen is simply mounted on the standard height adjustment of the BMW S 1000 XR, which can be operated in the usual way. Wunderlich offers its proven, always model-specific designed »MARATHON« screens for almost all current and many older BMW model series.
