MOTRON MOTORCYCLES - new brand from Austria!

The Austrian KSR Group presented a new two-wheeler brand at an online press conference on February 16, 2021: MOTRON MOTORCYCLES. With the “Follow the M” campaign, the drum has been buzzing vigorously since the beginning of January. A 4-part film series shows the life of Max Deeps (reading backwards gives his last name Max Speed). Since the beginning of the pandemic, Max has been overwhelmed by daydreams and asked by a woman's voice to follow the mysterious M. The campaign creates an interesting arc of tension in Netflix style and entertains not only motorcycle enthusiasts before the riddle was solved with the broadcast of episode 4 and the new brand MOTRON could be presented. MOTRON MOTORCYCLES is presented in a fresh black and yellow, which extends across the entire brand identity right through to the design of the bikes and aims specifically to address the entry-level and middle-class segment in the two-wheeler segment. With a very attractive price-performance ratio, MOTRON sets new standards and relies on tried and tested technology from professional partners.

MOTRON starts the 2021 season with an extensive product range of a total of ten two-wheeled vehicles. The portfolio of the new Austrian brand includes not only classic combustion motorcycles and scooters, but also three electric scooters and an electric minibike. The combustion models focus on cubatures from 50 to 400 cm³ and are specifically geared towards the entry-level and middle-class segment. The electrically operated models currently offer a top speed of 45 km / h and represent a new alternative in the L1e class.

"The launch of the new brand MOTRON hits the pulse of time. Especially in times like these, in which one longs for a fulfilling balance to everyday life in a pandemic, we address a target group who can find a brand with MOTRON for entering a new hobby, a new passion. Our brand slogan 'GET OUT THERE' underscores our approach to defying difficult times, going out and having fun on a MOTRON“, Michael and Christian Kirschenhofer, owners of the KSR Group, are convinced.

The electric models are already available at the beginning of the 2021 season WHIZCUBERTINOVOLTZ and VISION in the market. The burners and siblings will come to the dealerships from Q2: They will do the Adventure Bike X-NORD 125, the cruiser called TURRET 125 and the naked bike WARRIOR 400 together with the scooters BREEZY 50VENTURA 125IDEO 50 and IDEO 125 the beginning. More combustion motorcycles, namely the NOMAD 125 and X-NORD 400, will hit the market in the second half of the year. Naturally, all models meet the strict EURO5 guidelines.

The models are developed and produced by experienced partners in Asia who work with already very successful and well-known brands. This enables MOTRON to use synergy effects and benefit from a wealth of experience and technical developments.

The MOTRON design line was developed by the design team of the KSR Group, which has been creatively active in its own development and design studio in the Krems-Gedersdorf business park, Austria, for 2 years. Many coherent and novel design concepts, such as the unique Crossfire design line from Brixton, have already been created there. The fresh yellow accents on the modern and subtle colors black, gray and white are characteristic of the MOTRON design.
