One of the most important features of the Yamaha MT series is the large selection of models. This is how drivers with different levels of experience, requirements and budgets can find their optimal model. Semi-active suspension elements from Öhlins

The new MT-10 SP is the first choice for riders who want the most exclusive hyper naked bike with the best chassis technology that has ever been used in a production motorcycle. It is equipped with the latest electronically controlled suspension elements from Öhlins at the front and rear. The Yamaha R1M has a similar system, but the MT-10 SP uses the next generation of the electronically controlled Öhlins suspension system, which uses a new damping technology. This technology offers even more setting options. The spring elements are adjusted in the TRC settings in the ERS menu.

There are three semi-active damping levels (A-1, A-2, A-3) and three manual settings (M-1, M-2, M-3) to choose from in the ERS menu. If an automatic mode is selected, the system adapts the rebound and compression damping to the current driving conditions and continuously readjusts so that the optimal settings are always used. In manual mode, the driver can electronically adjust the rebound and compression damping for the fork and shock absorber. In the YRC menu, the suspension elements can be precisely matched to the driving style or the route.

Semi-active attenuation levels

A-1 is a sporty mode. It delivers a lot of confidence and good feedback, especially on winding roads and back roads, with a high degree of feeling for the front and rear wheels as well as good chassis stability when accelerating and braking.

• A-2: Ideal for sporty driving on well-developed roads.
• A-3: The touring mode with an emphasis on comfort and stability.

The MT-10 SP also has an exclusive, three-part front spoiler. It emphasizes the aggressive look of the flagship model and also protects the oil cooler.

The MT-10 SP has braided brake lines. They ensure fine control, a good pressure point and better performance when the brakes are stressed on track day and the temperature of the brake fluid in the line rises sharply.
