Racing flair with the new Suzuki GSX-R125 (2022)!

The Suzuki GSX-R5 super sports car will be presented in the 125 season with a Euro 2022-compliant engine, fresh colors and new decorative elements. As befits a member of the legendary GSX-R family, the liquid-cooled single cylinder also features the latest technology.

High-tech single with racing DNA

While four valves, actuated by two overhead camshafts, ensure an efficient gas exchange, a four-hole nozzle injects the fuel perfectly dosed directly into the two intake ducts. The result is the highest fuel efficiency and maximum power output. Flow-optimized throttle bodies with a diameter of 32 millimeters contribute to the revving pleasure of the sporty unit.

Instead of a liner, the cylinder has a race-proven nickel-phosphorus-silicon hard metal coating, known in motorsport as SCEM (Suzuki Composite-Electrochemical-Material). The low friction, in conjunction with a light piston with narrow, slightly pretensioned rings, makes the compact high-tech unit easy to turn. The latest generation of the small super sports car also meets the strict requirements of the Euro 5 emissions standard.

unrivaled power-to-weight ratio

The powerful characteristics of the GSX-R125 are underlined by the combination as the lightest motorcycle in its class and even power delivery in conjunction with a slim design. The steering head angle of 35 degrees results in connection with the sporty seating position in an ultra-agile handling. The frame, which has been optimized on the basis of extensive analyzes and weighs three kilograms below the class standard, contributes to the low overall weight, as does the cladding, which is manufactured using the same injection molding technology as the cladding of the GSX-R1000. The braking system with brake discs in wave design, which is of course supported by an ABS, guarantees sporty deceleration. The GSX-R125 rolls on lightweight cast wheels in an attractive ten-spoke design that are soled with Dunlop tires.

high quality equipment

The GSX-R125 offers a high level of equipment all round. This includes the Keyless-Start-System as well as the Suzuki Easy-Start-System, as well as the lighting system completely equipped with LED technology. In the cockpit behind the tight, sporty window, a central LC display provides all the relevant information, flanked by LEDs to indicate important vehicle functions.

new colors, even sportier

The new Suzuki GSX-R125 will be available in the 2022 season with new decorative elements in the two colors Metallic Triton Blue and Titan Black.

Availability and price

In Germany, the new Suzuki GSX-R125 will be available from authorized dealers from early summer 2022. The RRP of Suzuki Deutschland GmbH is EUR 4.650, plus transfer and ancillary costs.
