Two distinctive and unique black finishes

The new limited edition Rocket 3 is available in two stunning and sophisticated color schemes. The Rocket 3 R Black - the ultimate muscle roadster - is presented in a dark and atmospheric style with an unmistakable matt and glossy black paintwork, with black tank logos and the new "Black" branding. Alternatively, the Rocket 3 GT Triple Black offers a refined, dark style with an unmistakable black finish in three different shades, which underlines its casual and comfortable look.

Special, black details and finishes

Both the new limited edition Rocket 3 R and the Rocket 3 GT have been upgraded with a unique selection of black components that give the motorcycles an even more aggressive and dominant style, including a beautiful carbon front fender as standard equipment.

The world's largest motorcycle engine with 2.500 ccm is completely blackened - including black painted exhaust manifolds, heat shields and end caps. A special, black powder-coated intake manifold rounds off the design of the blackened engine and gives the new, limited Rocket editions an even "nastier" look.

The list of black components continues on both motorcycles. At the front, the new Rockets are equipped with black painted fender brackets, black painted headlight bezels, fly screen holders, radiator panels and emblems. The painted parts are complemented by the numerous black anodized components, including the fork tubes, fork bridges, risers and handlebar clamps, driver footpegs, brake and gear levers, heel guards as well as passenger footpegs and their brackets. The list of black anodized components continues with the forged rear frame, the reversing levers of the rear suspension, the swing arm protection, the side stand, the brake and clutch levers and the high-quality, black anodized handlebar end mirrors with milled details as standard equipment.

Enthusiastic performance

The 2.500 cc triple engine of the new Rocket Limited Edition scores with impressive performance. In fact, it is not only the largest production motorcycle engine in the world, but it also delivers the world's highest torque of 221 Nm. The maximum torque is reached at 4.000 rpm and is kept constant in the mid-speed range, which enables unparalleled acceleration and effortless driving in any gear.

The peak output is 167 hp at 6.000 rpm, and the three-cylinder engine is tuned in such a way that it delivers full power from 3.500 rpm and up to 7.000 rpm. This power is underlined with the aggressive, black painted finish of the engine and the characteristic triple sound from the exhaust system. The Rocket 3 R is also equipped with a helical six-speed high-performance transmission and a "Torque Assist" hydraulic clutch.

Inspiring driving behavior

When it comes to handling, the Rocket 3 R and the GT not only impress in terms of comfort and touring-friendliness, but also score with dynamic roadster handling that is much more reminiscent of a Speed Triple than a traditional cruiser.

Both models have a light aluminum frame and very high quality equipment - there is a fully adjustable Showa monoshock with a reservoir at the rear, while a Showa 47mm upside-down cartridge fork with adjustable compression and rebound is used at the front.

For the brakes, the particularly high-quality radial Brembo "Stylema" monoblock brake calipers with two floating brake discs are used. These state-of-the-art brake calipers are light and compact and have an optimized air flow for efficient cooling. To further underline the first-class equipment of the Rocket, both models are equipped with a powerful Brembo four-piston monobloc brake calliper and a 300 mm brake disc at the rear.

For the best ride comfort, the Rocket 3 R and GT are equipped with ergonomically shaped saddles for the driver and pillion passenger - including unique, black painted cast aluminum surrounds. The seat height of the Rocket 3 R is a low 773 mm, while the seat height of the GT is only 750 mm.

Both models allow their users maximum flexibility in seat configuration. They have the option of switching between a double seat arrangement and a single seat arrangement with the additional upholstery available as an accessory. The position of the footrests can also be adjusted. The Rocket R has adjustable rider footpegs, with two vertical positions to choose from. Thanks to their elegant, foldable design in unique black, the passenger footrests can also be "hidden" on the frame.

Exciting technology

The Rocket 3 is equipped as standard with the optimized cornering ABS and traction control from TRIUMPH. These are controlled by a sophisticated Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that measures the roll, pitch, yaw and acceleration values of the motorcycle to calculate bank angle and optimize braking and traction control accordingly.

The instruments are equipped with TRIUMPH's latest generation of full-color TFTs. They are adjustable in inclination and have two themes for the presentation, which can also be personalized.

The software for the My Triumph Connectivity System, which is available as an accessory, is already preinstalled on the TFT system. Its functions can be activated with a Bluetooth module available as an accessory. This enables the driver to interact with a GoPro camera, to use arrow navigation and to operate the telephone and music functions of the connected

Smartphones via the handlebar switches. All information is displayed on the TFT screen.

Both models are equipped with four driving modes - Road, Rain, Sport and can be configured by the driver - all of which can be easily changed while driving using the illuminated handlebar switches. The riding modes adapt the throttle response and traction control settings to the rider's preferences and riding conditions.

The Rocket 3 is equipped with hill start assist, cruise control, keyless ignition and keyless steering lock as well as a USB charging socket as standard.

Large selection of TRIUMPH original accessories

As for all TRIUMPH models, there is also a large selection of original accessories for the new special series of the Rocket 3, with which every rider can equip his motorcycle according to his preferences. In the portfolio, customers will find, among other things, the TRIUMPH Shift Assist for clutchless upshifts and downshifts, heated grips (standard on the Rocket 3 GT) and a tire pressure monitoring system for more safety and control.
