The new Speed Triple 1200 RR is a statement in terms of beauty, sophistication and self-confident appearance and thus sets a new high point for modern roadsters from TRIUMPH. With its clear, flowing lines, the sportier silhouette and a gathered seating position, the RR combines an aggressive and captivating new look with the thrilling performance of the Speed Triple 1200 base.

The new cockpit fairing is designed in such a way that it frames the characteristic, round RR individual headlights and gives the motorcycle a very special, independent appearance. The elegant, high-quality look is also evident in the many lovingly and elaborately designed details: Hidden cables and hoses in the entire cockpit area ensure an all-round "clean" look. The tank, the fairing and the cockpit score with premium carbon inserts. In combination with the new carbon side panels and the beautifully finished front fender made of carbon, these underline the particularly high-quality equipment level of the new RR.
The Speed Triple RR is available in two metallic color combinations: there is a choice of the strong color scheme Red Hopper / Storm Gray and the elegant combination of Crystal White / Storm Gray with high-quality gold details. Both variants are supplied as standard with a color-contrasting fairing keel under the engine and a matching seat cover. This can be fitted as an alternative to the pillion seat, which is also standard, in just a few simple steps.

A sporty, focused driving experience combined with Speed Triple Performance
Thanks to the light and compact chassis with cast aluminum frame, the new Speed Triple RR combines the incredible agility and precise handling of a 765 Street Triple RS with the performance and appearance of the latest Speed Triple generation. Its new ergonomics and track-tested equipment take it to the next level - making the RR the sportiest Speed Triple of all time.
The finely balanced new ergonomic concept of the RR ensures a driving experience that is as exciting as it is sporty and comfortable. The innovations include a new clip-on handlebar that sits 135 mm lower and 50 mm further forward than the Speed Triple 1200 RS, as well as an adjusted position of the footrests. In combination with the comfortable seat height of 830 mm, the narrow tank and the shaped seat profile, the new RR offers the best comfort and maximum control.
The sporty claim of the RR is further underlined by the standard premium equipment. This includes the new, electronically adjustable semi-active front and rear suspension Öhlins Smart EC 2.0, the most advanced suspension and damping system from Öhlins. This new system has been specially tailored to the geometry of the RR to ensure an optimal balance between performance, comfort and control. It is fully adjustable via the TFT instruments while driving and uses a sophisticated control unit to continuously monitor the data received, including driving style, speed and acceleration, and to automatically adjust the compression and rebound damping.
The Speed Triple 1200 RR also uses lightweight, race track-ready Brembo Stylema® monobloc front brake calipers and lightweight, floating 320 mm front brake discs that ensure precise braking. The brakes are operated via a Brembo front brake lever with a multi-click system, which allows the lever spacing and gear ratio to be adjusted for maximum comfort and control. A Brembo two-piston brake caliper and a 220 mm single disc work at the rear.
The 17-inch cast aluminum wheels are extremely light and equipped with sporty high-performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires. They are only used on the RR and offer the best feedback, maximum stability and maximum grip both on the racetrack and on the road.
The complete performance package of the latest Speed Triple generation
With the 1.160 cubic three-cylinder engine already known from the Speed Triple RS, the new RR has the same light, efficient and powerful drive, whose impressive performance and unmistakable character also inspire all riders of the sister model. Every component of this powerhouse is optimized for performance, torque and response behavior. The drive train delivers an impressive peak power of 180 hp at 10.750 rpm and a maximum torque of 125 Nm at 9.000 rpm. And as is typical of all TRIUMPH triple motors, the torque curve runs evenly and powerfully over the entire speed range up to the maximum speed - for inspiring pulling power and the best acceleration. Thanks to its low flywheel mass, the motor offers excellent response and a wonderfully refined and precise driving experience.
The compact, lightweight 6-speed gearbox with optimal gear ratios fits perfectly with the power curve of the triple and guarantees particularly smooth gear changes. The lightweight, torque-assisted slipper clutch uses ramps in the clutch to compress it under load. This supports the force of the clutch springs and more torque can be transmitted to the gearbox than with a conventional clutch of the same size. Conversely, aggressive downshifts allow controlled slip of the clutch to maximize control of the rear wheel. The side-mounted single silencer made of brushed stainless steel with a black end cap delivers the “goose bumps” sound characteristic of the Speed Triple for a sporty and committed driving experience.
All of the latest generation of high quality technology
Like the Speed Triple 1200 RS, the RR is also equipped with a whole range of state-of-the-art driving aids, electronics and comfort functions that not only make driving easier and safer, but also offer tailor-made settings for different driving situations.
A highlight of the first-class equipment is the full-color 5-inch TFT instrument, which is equipped with the "My TRIUMPH" connectivity system as standard. The system is compatible with Android and IOS and enables phone calls and music playback, arrow navigation (developed in collaboration with Google) and GoPro control. All functions are called up and managed via the illuminated handlebar fittings. The display takes place on the high-quality TFT screen, which guarantees minimal reflections for excellent image sharpness. The intuitive user interface allows numerous settings to be adjusted while driving and has a lap timer for use on the racetrack.
The new RR is also equipped as standard with the most advanced cornering ABS from TRIUMPH and an “Optimized Cornering” traction control that can be switched off. These systems use an inertia measurement unit to measure roll, pitch, yaw and acceleration values, calculate the lean angle and fine-tune the ABS and traction control response, optimizing the slip rates and torque control for the selected driving mode. Connected to the traction control is the advanced wheelie control system, which enables precise control using advanced algorithms.
The new RR has five riding modes - "Rain", "Road", "Sport", "Rider" and "Track" - the latter with minimal intervention by ABS and traction control. The driving modes have different intervention levels to choose from and are selected and set using the TFT instrument.
Another important feature for use on the road and on the racetrack is the TRIUMPH Shift Assist Quickshifter, which was developed on the basis of the knowledge TRIUMPH gained through its participation in the Moto2 ™ World Championship. It has an advanced sensor that provides the engine control unit with a wealth of information that allows it to fully map both upshifts and downshifts based on a range of parameters, just like the Moto2 ™ racing teams do. When upshifting, the TRIUMPH Shift Assist adjusts factors such as ignition, fuel and throttle valve angle in order to briefly reduce the pressure on the gear wheels and thus enable a smooth shift. This system is much more sophisticated than a traditional quickshifter, which simply cuts off the ignition. Even when downshifting, the system monitors and regulates various parameters and precisely controls the “blips” of the throttle valves to ensure smooth gear changes.
The lighting uses LED technology throughout to ensure maximum durability and efficiency. The daytime running lights are integrated in the new round individual headlights and, like the distinctive rear light integrated in the rear, have a unique light signature. Another convenience plus are the self-resetting LED indicators.
The new Speed Triple 1200 RR is also equipped with additional driver-oriented technologies, including a keyless system (with keyless ignition, steering lock and fuel cap) and fully adjustable cruise control.
Prepared for personalization
As with all TRIUMPH motorcycles, the focus of the new RR is on individualization. There are over 30 original accessories that were developed together with the motorcycle in order to be able to integrate them perfectly. They have all been tested to the same strict quality and durability standards. In addition, a four-year manufacturer's guarantee with unlimited mileage applies to accessories that were purchased together with the motorcycle in Germany or Austria.
Accessories include milled front and rear brake fluid reservoirs, turn signals, heated handles and even items of luggage such as a waterproof tail bag and tank bag, both of which can be attached with quick-release fasteners. All accessories can be seen in the online configurator.

Like all TRIUMPH motorcycles, the new Speed Triple 1200 RR is also manufactured according to the brand's excellent quality and reliability standards. This can be seen in the long service intervals of 16.000 kilometers or 12 months (whichever comes first). In addition, since July 01, 2021, all owners of TRIUMPH vehicles that have been registered with German or Austrian dealers have been able to benefit from a full four-year manufacturer's guarantee with unlimited kilometers plus a two-year mobility guarantee in the event of a breakdown.
