An unmatched TRIUMPH scrambler legacy

Introduced in 2017, the Street Scrambler has an unprecedented history that began in the early 1960s. The original Bonneville was considered a motorcycle with which racing successes were possible ex works and was therefore the motorcycle of choice for many dirt and desert racers for off-road racing. The TRIUMPH bikes were dismantled and modified, which subsequently also led to the first special scrambler factory models, including the Bonneville T-120TT. The Bonneville T-120TT was the motorcycle that - with less weight and more power - really got the young scrambler scene going.

The Scrambler 2006, included in the TRIUMPH program in 900, finally heralded the revival of this exciting motorcycle category. In 2017, the newly developed Street Scrambler brought a modern, contemporary style to this segment as the “Urban Scrambler” bike. Thanks to its very accessible character, which is entirely geared towards driving fun, it captured the hearts of many motorcyclists by storm.

Updated Euro 5 Bonneville engine with high torque

The new Street Scrambler 2021 is powered by the 900 cc Bonneville two-cylinder engine with high torque, which with its new set-up now complies with Euro 5 regulations. The liquid-cooled engine retains its 65 HP peak power, the unmistakable scrambler character and the direct response behavior. In addition, it delivers lower emissions - which exceed the Euro 5 requirements - and can boast excellent fuel efficiency. In addition, the engine has a powerful torque even at low speeds (with a maximum of 80 Nm at a low 3.250 rpm) and can boast spontaneous response behavior and good acceleration over the entire speed range. The unmistakable sound of the iconic British twin comes from the Street Scrambler's characteristic high-mounted twin exhaust system with brushed stainless steel silencers. It creates a unique exhaust tone that perfectly matches its unmistakable character.

Long service intervals of 16.000 km ensure low operating costs, while the A2 accessory kit available from dealers makes the Street Scrambler accessible to motorcycle beginners as well. The A2 approval kit includes another electronic throttle grip and A2-specific engine software and can easily be revoked by the dealer once the owner has the open driver's license.

More premium custom style and details

The new 2021 Street Scrambler features the distinctive scrambler style and silhouette of the original TRIUMPH Scrambler that started the era of desert racing in the 1960s. While maintaining this authentic character and timeless DNA, the Street Scrambler has a distinctive, wide fork, a raised double exhaust, minimal bodywork, a wide handlebar and spoked wheels with black hubs and rims.

For the new generation 2021, additional high-quality accents and details have been added, including a new aluminum start number plate with an embossed Street Scrambler logo, which is integrated into the new side covers. Also new are the throttle covers, heel covers and headlight mounts, all of which have a brushed aluminum finish. Last but not least, the latest generation of the Street Scrambler has a new seat cover.

Other typical Scrambler details are the non-slip adventure footrests, the elegantly shaped tank with lockable lid and the short front mudguard. Like all motorcycles in the Modern Classic family from TRIUMPH, the Street Scrambler also has the characteristic Bonneville engine cover with the TRIUMPH logo and milled cooling fins on the cylinder head.

The Street Scrambler 2021 is available in three premium paint finishes: the classic Jet Black, a new, modern Urban Gray or the new two-tone paintwork in Matt Khaki and Matt Ironstone including a striking new tank graphic.

Premium specification and equipment for improved drivability

The special chassis setup of the Street Scrambler ensures a confident seating position with wide aluminum handlebars and centrally positioned footrests - a combination that inspires confidence and offers an excellent overview in traffic. The Brembo 4-piston brake caliper on the front wheel ensures excellent braking power and a great feeling for the dosage.

With 120 mm of spring travel on the front and rear wheels, the high-quality 41 mm cartridge fork and the spring struts with adjustable preload, the rider feels safe and comfortable even on longer journeys or in light terrain. The long travel fork features traditional rubber bellows, while the rear suspension features gray springs and black covers that enhance the bike's iconic scrambler style.

The black spoke wheels of the Street Scrambler (19-inch front and 17-inch rear) are equipped with Metzeler Tourance enduro tires, which ensure excellent grip, durability and precise handling in all conditions. The low seat height of 790 mm contributes to the confident driving experience and is complemented by a narrow step arch so that the driver can comfortably reach the ground while standing. This makes this model ideal for all motorcycle fans, it is easy to maneuver and brings maximum fun for every type of rider.

Advanced driver-centric technology

The new Street Scrambler 2021 maintains its high level of advanced, driver-centric technology to ensure the best driving experience with maximum safety and control. A switchable ABS and a switchable traction control are standard. The latter optimizes the torque output when the traction is impaired. Three driving modes (Rain, Road and Off-Road), which are activated via modern ride-by-wire technology, adapt the throttle control map and the traction control settings to the driving conditions or the driver's preferences and ensure optimum performance in wet conditions or dry conditions. The off-road mode switches off the ABS and traction control so that the driver has full control of the rear wheel on loose surfaces.

A torque-assisted clutch for easy and simple operation is also built in as standard, which is particularly advantageous when driving in heavy traffic or off-road. The instrument panel has an analog speedometer and a digital menu system that is controlled via intuitive buttons on the handlebar. The USB charging socket under the seat, the immobilizer integrated in the key and the compact, energy-saving and elegant LED rear light complete the high-quality technology package.

Built to personalize with 120 original TRIUMPH accessories

Like all TRIUMPH Modern Classics, the new 2021 Street Scrambler can be customized with a large selection of 120 TRIUMPH original accessories - for additional protection, comfort, off-road style, improved capabilities and safety. This includes a range of robust and durable luggage options as well as accessories for more everyday usability, such as heated handles, center stand, short and tall windows, adjustable levers and engine protection bars. For even more off-road suitability, a raised front fender, a headlight grille, an oil pan protection made of stainless steel and adjustable Fox struts with reservoirs at the rear are available. Optionally, the traditional scrambler-style seat and the milled handlebar clamp provide even more first-class custom style.

All original accessories from TRIUMPH have been developed and homologated for perfect integration with the motorcycle and tested according to the same demanding quality standards. They all come with a two-year unlimited mileage guarantee.
