Performance advantage of the three-cylinder engine

With the 660 cc triple, the new Tiger Sport 660 not only has the only three-cylinder engine in this class, it can also score with the highest performance. At the same time, the engine combines the best of two worlds: the powerful pulling power of a two-cylinder engine with very good power delivery at medium and high speeds, the classic domain of four-cylinder engines. In other words: a peak torque of 64 Nm at 6.250 rpm and a peak output of 81 hp at 10.250 rpm make the new Tiger Sport 660 the most powerful motorcycle in its class and guarantee first-class acceleration in every gear - even when fully loaded, or with a passenger. The Tiger Sport 660 offers optimally usable power in all driving situations from the lowest revs to the red range of the rev counter.

The power delivery is controlled by a sophisticated engine management system with ride-by-wire control, which ensures a precise and responsive driving experience. The 6-speed gearbox with its gear steps optimized for driving pleasure and everyday practicality ensures the optimal implementation of the power. The short, minimalistically designed stainless steel silencer ensures the unmistakable, deep exhaust sound of the 660 triple engine.

The engine complies with the Euro 5 standard, offers low emissions and very low fuel consumption. It can be adapted to the European approval regulations of the A2 driving license category at the dealer with an easily convertible accessory kit.

The new standard in handling

As a thoroughbred TRIUMPH, the Tiger Sport 660 also offers the dynamic, agile and comfortable handling typical of the brand. The new bike is perfectly balanced, can be easily controlled with the light, conical aluminum handlebar and thus offers all the requirements for a confident and confidence-inspiring ride. The double bench is as practical as it is comfortable. The passengers benefit from a seat height of 835 mm for the driver and ergonomically optimized pillion handles in the standard equipment. Drivers of the Tiger Sport 660 also benefit from a narrow step curve, which ensures easy maneuverability at lower speeds and a feeling of security when standing.

The chassis has been carefully tuned and scores with the best handling, a sporty driving experience when driving solo as well as the best comfort in touring - both alone or in pairs. At the front, the Tiger Sport 660 is equipped with a 41 mm Showa upside-down cartridge fork with 150 mm of travel. This harmonizes perfectly with the Showa monoshock at the rear, which works perfectly with a dual-rate spring both in solo and pillion mode. The monoshock is also equipped with a hydraulic preload adjustment in order to be able to adapt the driving behavior exactly to the load condition.

The 17-inch, 5-spoke wheels are made of lightweight cast aluminum and contribute to the motorcycle's exceptional agility, while the Michelin Road 5 tires provide the best grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The Nissin 2-piston brake calipers with two 310 mm brake discs on the front axle ensure excellent braking performance and are operated via an adjustable brake lever.

At home on long-distance tours

Practical orientation and versatility are at the top of the list of motorcycle fans for mid-range adventure sports motorcycles. The new Tiger Sport 660 therefore has all the properties that are crucial for commuting and city trips, but also for weekend trips and longer trips: The elegant tank holds 17 liters of fuel and thus ensures an unrestricted range suitable for touring. The slim, aerodynamic windshield can be adjusted in height with a simple one-handed operation, so that the driver can easily adjust the weather and wind protection while driving.

The touring suitability of the motorcycle is further improved by the discreetly integrated luggage rack. They allow easy installation of the new accessory cases, while the “clean” design of the rear area is retained when driving without luggage. A 47-liter top case is available for additional luggage, in which two full-face helmets can be safely stored. The case and the top case can also be color-coordinated with the motorcycle.

Class leading technology for maximum security and control

The new Tiger Sport 660 offers a comprehensive range of driver support technology that is unparalleled in this class. This includes the new multifunctional instruments with TFT displays, which provide all the necessary information in a clear, compact and easy-to-understand design. The instruments have been specially developed for seamless integration with the “My TRIUMPH” connectivity system, which is available as an accessory. It enables arrow navigation, control of a GoPro camera and interaction with phone and music.

Another exception in this class are the two riding modes "Road" and "Rain", which adjust the throttle response and the traction control settings. This increases the driver's control and gives more confidence in all driving conditions. ABS and traction control that can be switched off are also standard. To further improve the driving experience, the Tiger Sport 660 is equipped with a torque-assisted anti-hopping clutch including an adjustable clutch lever. It ensures easy and simple operation and reduces driver fatigue, especially in city traffic. For maximum efficiency and longevity, the motorcycle has complete LED lighting - including striking new double headlights, a compact, integrated rear light and self-deactivating turn signals.

Dynamic character and unmistakable style of the new Tiger Sport 660

The new Tiger Sport 660 combines functionality with modern adventure sport design in the best possible way. The completely new bodywork scores with clear, flowing lines - from the striking front with double headlights to the minimalist rear - and gives the Tiger Sport 660 a self-confident, unmistakable appearance. Other high-quality styling details are the teardrop-shaped exterior mirrors, the characteristically shaped radiator panels and the minimalist stainless steel silencer mounted under the engine. With the Tiger Sport 660, TRIUMPH offers the choice between three attractive color combinations: Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black, Korosi Red and Graphite with striking sporty graphics or the subtle color combination Graphite and Black are available.

The lowest cost of ownership in the entire category

The new adventure sports bike is not only extremely competitive in terms of price, it also has the lowest operating costs in its category. This includes service intervals of 16.000 kilometers (or 12 months) as well as the four-year unlimited mileage guarantee including an additional mobility guarantee in the first two years. The high level of quality and reliability is directly reflected in the workshop costs of the Tiger Sport 660, which are the lowest in this category. Over a period of three years, the new motorcycle needs the least amount of time in its class for regular maintenance at just over 8 hours, which makes it around 30% more cost-effective than its competitors in terms of labor costs.

Accessible individuality: TRIUMPH original accessories

An extensive range of over 660 TRIUMPH original accessories is available for the new Tiger Sport 40, which customers can use to make their motorcycle even more practical and comfortable, or to add additional luggage options. All original accessories were developed together with the motorcycle itself and are subject to the same strict quality and durability tests. In addition to the “My TRIUMPH” connectivity system, the range of accessories also includes the TRIUMPH Shift Assist Quickshifter with blipper function, heated grips, a USB charging socket under the seat, special indicators and a tire pressure monitoring system.

There is also a light luggage rack made of cast aluminum and a completely waterproof luggage bag. Frame, engine and fork protectors can be attached for additional protection, and an alarm system, GPS tracker and a selection of motorcycle locks are available for maximum security. The same four-year unlimited mileage guarantee applies to all original TRIUMPH accessories as to the motorcycle itself, if the parts are purchased together with the motorcycle from a dealer in Germany or Austria.
