At the same time, the engine combines the best of two worlds: the powerful pulling power of a two-cylinder engine with very good power delivery at medium and high speeds, the classic domain of four-cylinder engines. In other words: a peak torque of 64 Nm at 6.250 rpm and a peak output of 81 hp at 10.250 rpm make the new Tiger Sport 660 the most powerful motorcycle in its class and guarantee first-class acceleration in every gear - even when fully loaded, or with a passenger. The Tiger Sport 660 offers optimally usable power in all driving situations from the lowest revs to the red range of the rev counter.
The power delivery is controlled by a sophisticated engine management system with ride-by-wire control, which ensures a precise and responsive driving experience. The 6-speed gearbox with its gear steps optimized for driving pleasure and everyday practicality ensures the optimal implementation of the power. The short, minimalistically designed stainless steel silencer ensures the unmistakable, deep exhaust sound of the 660 triple engine.

The chassis has been carefully tuned and scores with the best handling, a sporty driving experience when driving solo as well as the best comfort in touring - both alone or in pairs. At the front, the Tiger Sport 660 is equipped with a 41 mm Showa upside-down cartridge fork with 150 mm of travel. This harmonizes perfectly with the Showa monoshock at the rear, which works perfectly with a dual-rate spring both in solo and pillion mode. The monoshock is also equipped with a hydraulic preload adjustment in order to be able to adapt the driving behavior exactly to the load condition.
The 17-inch, 5-spoke wheels are made of lightweight cast aluminum and contribute to the motorcycle's exceptional agility, while the Michelin Road 5 tires provide the best grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The Nissin 2-piston brake calipers with two 310 mm brake discs on the front axle ensure excellent braking performance and are operated via an adjustable brake lever.
