The TRACER 7 and TRACER 7 GT are two extremely agile sport tourers that impress with their popular, high-torque CP2 engine. For 2023, both models have been technically revised in many respects, making the driving experience even more versatile and exciting. Thanks to more extensive standard equipment, the TRACER 7 GT offers even better touring qualities.

5 inch TFT with connectivity

Both the TRACER 7 and the TRACER 7 GT have a new 5 inch TFT full color display with smartphone connectivity. It shows the driver all important information in a clear, visually appealing and understandable way. The new system offers a choice of two screen displays. The 'Touring' display presents information in a functional and conventional analogue manner, while the 'Street' display offers a more stylish, modern look. Both models are equipped with a Communication Control Unit (CCU). With it, the rider can pair his smartphone with the motorcycle via Bluetooth® using the free Yamaha MyRide app and have information about incoming calls, e-mails and messages shown on the TFT display.

New, ergonomic multifunction handlebar switches allow easy operation of the new display or selection of the desired screen display. Improved braking performance! The revised telescopic fork of the TRACER 7 and TRACER 7 GT has two brake discs that have been enlarged to 298 millimeters, which ensure excellent and sensitive braking performance in every situation. The telescopic fork has a revised set-up for a more balanced and versatile riding experience. Adjustment is simple and is done via a new, unified system.

More versatile than ever In addition to the new 5 inch TFT full color display with connectivity, larger brake discs and refined front wheel suspension, which it has in common with the TRACER 7, the GT model also comes with a comprehensive range of luxury and comfort equipment and thus offers an even more attractive overall package . 20 liter hard side case. Whether you're touring or your daily commute, each 20-litre hard side case offers the perfect capacity without compromising the bike's compact dimensions and aggressive good looks. Available in different colors, the slim and robust design fits perfectly with the dynamic style of the TRACER 7 GT.

The GT's new touring screen is 92 millimeters taller and 70 millimeters wider than the previous model, offering even better wind protection. It consists of robust, scratch-resistant polycarbonate and ensures maximum driving comfort with a lower noise level and more wind and weather protection.

The specially developed seat offers the driver and passenger more comfort. It has a cover made of two materials with contrasting stitching and zones with
variable density foam for a comfortable fit and an integrated TRACER logo.

Lateral tank pads

The tank pads made of high-density rubber give extra grip, make the ride more comfortable and protect the tank from scratches. The design is inspired by the "Roads of Life" philosophy - the concept behind the Yamaha Sport Touring models.

Luggage racks

The luggage rack is now standard equipment on the TRACER 7 GT and also provides even more strength and frame rigidity. An additional advantage is the better grip for the passenger.

colors and availability

The TRACER 7 is available in the colors Midnight Black, Icon Performance and Redline. It is expected to be available from German Yamaha partners from March 2023.
The TRACER 7 GT comes in Icon Performance, Phantom Blue and Midnight Black colors with exclusive GT graphics. It is expected to be available from Yamaha partners from May 2023.

Genuine Yamaha Accessories & Sport Touring Rider Wear

Yamaha has developed a range of genuine accessories (kits and individual parts) that allow TRACER 7/TRACER 7 GT owners to easily customize their motorcycle. Customers can order the kits and accessories before taking delivery of their new motorcycle and have them fitted by a Yamaha dealer. All components of the kits can also be purchased individually. Special Yamaha rider clothing is available for lovers of the Sport Touring model range. This collection includes, among other things, comfortable touring equipment such as textile items for different seasons or urban fit jeans.

MyGarage app

With the Yamaha MyGarage app, customers can quickly and easily configure a virtual version of their TRACER 7/TRACER 7 GT with a large selection of original accessories on their smartphone or laptop. With the free app, accessories can be added and removed until the perfect TRACER 7/TRACER 7 GT is configured. The finished result can be viewed in 3D from all angles. The MyGarage app provides security when selecting and deciding on accessories. Once the configuration is complete, the customer can send the result directly to the Yamaha partner of their choice so that they can order the selected original accessories and mount them on the new TRACER 7/TRACER 7 GT. My Ride

The free Yamaha MyRide app gives TRACER 7/TRACER 7 GT riders the ability to get more fun and information out of every ride. It is available for iOS and Android devices. Routes driven can be recorded and saved with the app. The user can create their own story and add pictures to the ride to share via social media. MyRide also gives users the ability to view ride stats such as distance, elevation gain, top speed, average speed, acceleration and lean angle and compare them with other riders.
