A few months ago we have from the provider Nasiol already extensive the NASIOL NL272 ceramic coating for the paint tested. And now there was a new test in the house. And this time we have that Nasiol GlasShield Wipe-On an our Audi A3 tried out. This product launched Nasiol in August (we reported) and it is a nano-sealing for the windshield. The Nasiol GlasShield Wipe-On is supposed to make driving a car much easier with a nano-sealing in the rain and is simply applied to the windshield. It should even ensure that the windshield is better protected against stone chips. Similar to the NASIOL NL272 Ceramic coating.
Step 1: As it should be, we have it with the cleaning of the windscreen taken seriously, of course. Cleaning the windshield right down to the last corner is the first step and must be observed for an optimal result. We simply have the complete windscreen with clear water and a kitchen sponge (Cloth scourer) cleaned to really remove every fly and crumb. By the way, the day's temperature was around + 18 ° C. So perfect!
Step 2: After the window was completely cleaned, every drop of water had to be removed. Then it went to the second step. Nasiol supplies a special cleaning cloth with a solvent to ensure that any existing washer wax, tiny residues and particles are completely removed. It is marked accordingly and with Side of the cloth we have Half of the disk cleaned thoroughly. Then the cloth is simply turned over and then the other side of the windshield is cleaned with it. The liquid in the cloth was sufficient in our case (Audi A3). With an even larger pane, it could be scarce. A commercially available alcohol provides a comparable result and can be used as an alternative.
Step 3: Allow everything to flash off briefly and the final step can begin. Now you just take one of the two soaked sealing cloths (also labeled) and thus treats "one side" of the windshield. It is important that the sealant is applied evenly. You can plan a good 60 seconds per cloth and side until you realize that no more liquid is released. A special method of application can do no harm. According to description (English & Turkish) should by the way, after that you should not move the vehicle for at least 12 hours, which we naturally adhered to. Only then is that Nasiol GlasShield Wipe-On completely cured and you can also use the wipers again without losing anything from the approx. 100 nanometer thick layer. PS.
