Europe's leading motorcycle manufacturer KTM joins forces with BRABUS. The world-renowned luxury mobility brand from Germany's Ruhr area specializes in creating top-of-the-line supercars and sports boats. In the brand new collaboration, the two leading brands in their respective industries combine their distinctive brand identities. The name BRABUS has stood for luxury, handcrafted exclusivity and performance since 1977. Known among enthusiasts worldwide for more than four decades for the creation of high-performance supercars and as an expert for customization in the automotive sector, BRABUS has now also made a name for itself in the maritime sector with its model series of exclusive sports boats. Now the company is expanding its operations even further, expanding its focus towards high-end motorcycling in collaboration with KTM.
The BRABUS 1300 R
The new BRABUS 1300 R stands for "badass" design, exclusive elegance and superior performance. It is the very first BRABUS motorcycle - a distinctive naked bike designed for enthusiasts with an eye for extraordinary details. The BRABUS 1300 R was developed with the aim of uniting the deep-rooted identities and design styles of KTM and BRABUS and represents the best of both brands. The signature features of the BRABUS "Black and Bold" design language include two characteristic color schemes, BRABUS Monoblock Z forged wheels, high-quality carbon body elements and a stylish, tailor-made seat that was designed by the BRABUS interior specialists with great attention to detail. Together, these features define the unique and sporty character of the bike and provide an instant 1-second wow factor.
The experts from both brands chose the KTM 1300 SUPER DUKE R EVO as the platform for the BRABUS 1290 R. This impressive model, KTM's latest evolution of its performance-engineered motorcycles, offers the very best in terms of a unique cutting-edge riding experience, uncompromising ergonomics and the beating heart of the BRABUS 1300 R - a mighty V-twin engine spun out of its eponymous 1 301 cm3 displacement generates an output of 132 kW / 0180 hp and a torque of 140 Nm. Powered by KTM's outstanding LC8-V2 engine, which produces a peak output of 132 kW / 180 hp at 9 rpm and a maximum torque of 500 Nm at 140 rpm, the BRABUS 8 R offers driving performance as you would expect from expected from the BRABUS brand. This high-performance configuration was designed to redefine the limits of propulsion and to offer an unparalleled driving experience. In the BRABUS style, the BRABUS 000 R remains true to the unmistakable "Black and Bold" design identity with exclusive components. Lightweight Monoblock Z forged wheels in a 1300-spoke design, tailor-made carbon air intakes, a striking headlight and a specially developed, heated driver's seat bear the unmistakable styling elements of the BRABUS supercars.
To give this bike an additional touch of unique individuality, the BRABUS 1300 R is only available in two characteristic colors - "MAGMA RED" and "SIGNATURE BLACK". Only 77 of each of these two variants were built, with the number 77 symbolizing the year in which BRABUS was founded. From a technical point of view, the completely new BRABUS 1300 R uses the latest, semi-active WP APEX suspension technology. It allows the driver to choose between six special driving modes: COMFORT, STREET, SPORT, TRACK and ADVANCED. The driver can activate this individually or opt for AUTO mode, which automatically adapts to the road surface and the prevailing driving conditions.
In addition to the extraordinary driving experience, the BRABUS 1300 R is an unmistakable symbol of luxury, exclusivity and characteristic BRABUS styling.
