Today we are briefly testing a digital tire pressure tester / tire inflator for you. The Longruner tire inflator was available from a large mail-order company for less than € 30 and we ordered it directly. The device comes with a robust metal structure and the leak-free design enables precise measurements. Longruner indicates that the measured tire pressure is accurate to 1%, which of course we could not check, as we have no calibrated device for comparison. The measurement takes place in the range from 0 to 200 PSI. The very robust locking of the brass chuck seals completely and so you have your hands free to operate the device. The scope of delivery even included a 90-degree valve extension for hard-to-reach tire valves and some small items. The longruner tire inflator allows the excess air to be vented even if the tire pressure is too high. The rest is best to watch in our short video. But which air pressure is actually the right one for which tire and which vehicle? All information is available in our post on correct air pressure.
So far so good! But what if the steering wheel vibrates suddenly when accelerating or braking? What if the whole vehicle shakes and you have no idea where the imbalance is coming from? Then maybe our contribution on the topic "Car vibrates or wobbles while driving - why?"!
