More horsepower and more torque ... If you drive in for a longer period of time and the same vehicle then comes to almost everyone this wish sooner or later. It hardly matters from now on with a 1.2tdi or owns a big V8 compressor. No matter how much power you have available as standard, it is almost a natural behavior to wish for more at some point - at least if you are even just interested in the subject of tuning. The owner of this Ford Transit (Tourneo) 2.2 TDCI was apparently no different and so the Tourneo had to endure a corresponding increase in performance. And what could be more obvious than to look after the Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance team with this task!
The tuning of Mcchip-DKR
After all, we already know performance increases on vehicles from pretty much every vehicle category from Mcchip-DKR and this is no secret in the catchment area of the tuner. Mcchip has currently presented the finished vehicle including the tuning made on its website and of course we have to show it to you. The original 140PS / 350 Nm became a whopping 172PS / 414Nm after the revision and they will certainly ensure that drivers of the same type, but with series performance, will look amazed when they have to let the Mcchip Tourneo go. The tuner did not post much more details than the result of the increase in performance, but that's enough in this case. What we have been able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you in a summary below as usual.

These are the known changes to the series of the Ford Tourneo 2.2 TDCI:
- Bull catcher in front
- 17 inch large multi-spoke alloy wheels in matt black
- Performance increase on 172PS & 414NM (standard output ex works 140PS / 350 Nm - not measured) - (chip tuning)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
