Attention! There is a "Update " which contains new information (pictures, data, video). The new info you will find, specially marked, at the end of the article!

news on the Facebook timeline around the Shiftech Lyon team. The following Photos we discovered on the social media channel of the tuner and need it she just show you guys. You can see a tuned VW Golf 6 R 2.0 TFSI. The company has not really posted many details so far, so we have to “guess” something about the changes to the car. What we were able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you with a small summary below. Should you discover any further changes, we would be happy if you let us know in the "comment box", we will of course include them in the post.

These are the details we know:

  • Performance increase of 270 PS and 350 NM on 346 PS and 469 NM via chip tuning
  • Milltek Sport Exhaust System with Race Catalysts (200 Cells)
  • Admission Forge Twintake (intake - air filter system)

We have written to the tuner and asked if he can send us more details about the conversion.

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

"The Tuning and Styling Blog" - we keep you up to date on the subject of car tuning and car styling with our tuning magazine and present you the latest tuned cars from all over the world every day.

Update from "26.07.2015/XNUMX/XNUMX"

There is new information that we can of course not withhold from you. Shiftech again had a VW Golf 7 R 2.0 TSI with standard 300PS on the test bench and achieved an output of 375PS and 517NM torque. Unfortunately, we are not yet aware of any further data, but we assume that more than just the pure software is responsible for the significant increase in performance.
