today we introduce you to a tuned BMW E90 335i. The car was not refined by a special tuning team but, as far as we know, was set up by a private tuning enthusiast (or better wheels) who used tuning parts from several suppliers. Personally, I always like these tuning conversions best because such a car was usually refined much more individually than a car with a tuning program from just one provider. We already know a few details about the tuning and the parts installed on the BMW E90 335i. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a summary.

Ps. Even more privately tuned vehicles can be found in ours Selfmade category!

These are the known changes to the car:

  • unknown lowering (sport springs, coil springs or coilover !?)
  • darkened windows
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)
  • Spoiler package all around
  • N55 engine
  • 741 PS
  • 624 £ -ft (846 Nm) torque
  • Turbos (PTE 6466 Gen 2)
  • JB4 ECU software
  • Boost = 30 PSI
  • new intercooler
  • E85 fuel

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos about this car will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course inform you and put the new data online.

While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
