Caterham Seven receives engine update on up to 210PS

News from the manufacturer Caterham Cars, the latest creation presented to us by the manufacturer Caterham Cars is the Caterham Seven, which has three new engines. We have summarized what we know about the new engines for you below.

These are the data we know about Caterham seven:

  • Caterham Seven 270, 360 and Seven Seven 420
  • all Sevens with S or R equipment packages
  • 270 model with a Ford Sigma 1,6 liter four-cylinder engine 135 hp at 6.800 rpm and 165 Nm (122 lb-ft) at 4.100 rpm. V-max. 196 km / h) power-to-weight ratio of 250 hp per ton
  • 360 model  2,0 liter Ford Duratec engine with 180 horsepower at 7300 rpm and 194 Nm (143 lb-ft) at 6.100 rpm. V-Max. 209 km / h power-to-weight ratio 321 hp per ton
  • 420 model 2,0 liter Duratec engine 210 hp at 7600 rpm and 203 Nm (150 lb-ft) at 6.300 rpm. 0-100 km / h in 3,8 seconds. Power-to-weight ratio 375 hp per ton
