But what if we take the trouble and compare our question with a statistic? Then we will find that for a good 60% of all vehicle owners with a desire for customization, the car is the first to receive a new wheel set and this is almost always at least 1 inch larger than the factory rims. The rims are replaced before the car is chiptuned or lowered. In other words, a new wheel set is the most frequent change to a vehicle, but it is also one of the most expensive. The choice to exchange the rims is understandable, because the rims installed ex works are not necessarily unsightly, the problem is that the standard rims are selected in the manufacturer's configurator and of course thousands of other buyers have that, in this case a Porsche 911 (991.2 ) Carrera S, also done. In addition, the wheel sets are of course trimmed in the direction of mainstream optics ex works because they should please the general public.
All very good reasons for a new set of rims! Why not look around in Alphamale Performance's repertoire to see if a chic alternative is to be found? The owner of this snow-white Porsche 911 (991.2) Carrera S has "the wheelset project"And the standard rims were exchanged for an Alphamale Performance wheel set of the type AMP-5S (3-part forged rims) with a rim bed in the same color as the car. Anyone who knows Alphamale Performance can understand why it had to be this particular provider! Alphamale Performance has high quality rims in its range and a diverse selection. As you can see, there was something suitable for the current 911 and the project could begin. Apart from the new rims, the 991 has received further changes which we are only aware of based on the photos, unfortunately we do not currently have exact details. Regardless of the focus is the new AMP-5S wheelset which certainly does not miss the standard rims and is definitely an asset to the Carrera S. The vehicle looks more dynamic and sporty, which is always a plus and should drive accordingly. We took a closer look at the photos and looked for differences compared to the production model and were able to determine a few more changes to the rims.
