I really don't know what to think of it. To replace a 5,0 liter V8 "M" engine with a Toyota Supra 2JZ engine. The 5 Series is currently being sold for around € 16.000. The tuner E-Shift Tuning allegedly gave the Supra engine the 500PS, a compressor with the V8 of the M5 would have done that too, right?

This was done on the E39 M5:

  • 2JZ engine
  • 500 PS
  • Garrett turbocharger
  • customized software
  • Six-speed box from Getrag
  • KW coilover suspension
  • Varrstoen 19-inch rims

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
