A good 90% of the time everyone who wants to tune their car comes up with the idea of installing a new set of aluminum rims. Even before an increase in performance by means of chip tuning or lowering, new alloy wheels are statistically the most popular tuning utensil. Understandable because the standard rims are often not necessarily ugly but very much trimmed to mainstream optics and of course not very individual. What could be more obvious than looking around on the shelves of the tuner and rim manufacturer Vorsteiner to see if a chic alternative to the wheelset installed ex works can be found? The owner of this white BMW M3 F80 did just that and swapped the standard rims for a Vorsteiner forged wheel set in matt black. If you take a closer look at the rims and of course the selection of aerodynamic parts from Vorsteiner, we will understand why!

Vorsteiner stands first and foremost for quality, there is also an appealing selection of different designs and, as you can see, there was something suitable for the current M3. Of course we would like to show you the whole thing with pictures and have therefore decided to introduce the car to you. In addition to the visually appealing and well-fitting alloy wheels, the M3 F80 has received a few other modifications that we are only aware of based on the photos, unfortunately we have not yet had any technical information.

No matter the main focus of the car is clearly on the aforementioned forged wheelset which, as already mentioned, certainly does not miss the standard rims and is an absolute asset to the M3. I think the car immediately looks more dynamic and sporty, which can never be wrong. We took a closer look at the car and made a few comparisons with the production version and were able to determine one or the other change to the aluminum. What we have learned directly from the tuner Baan Velgen and have recognized ourselves, we provide you in a summary as usual below. Should you notice any further changes, we would be happy if you post them in the "comment box", we will then add them to the post as soon as possible.

Ps. If you have more tuned vehicles like this one BMW 5er F10 or even one Audi RS5 Coupe von Baan Velgen just click on the name of the tuner at the photo hint (below the picture)!

Update

News from 31.03.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX

As mentioned above, we have some new pictures of Christian Kalse | Photographer & Director discovered we really want to show you. Baan Velgen has put the M3 on new aluminum wheels and this time it became a set of HRE R101 LW in 20 inches that stand out for their Michelin tires with white lettering. Optically quite an alternative to the above-built Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheelset, I think.

Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
