It can always be a little more, right? If you are regularly on the road with the same vehicle, this thought comes up with almost everyone, at least when a car is not just seen as a commodity. It doesn't really matter whether you are traveling with a 1.0 three-cylinder or a supercharged V8. No matter how much power you have available ex works, it is almost a natural behavior to wish for more at some point - at least if you are even rudimentary about tuning and the like. Interested in performance improvements. The owner of this already extremely well motorized Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG (G-Class) apparently thought similarly and so the 65er had to endure an increase in performance. And what could be more obvious than looking after the BR-Performance tuning team with this project?
After all, we already know optimized vehicles from almost every vehicle category and type of BR performance and of course this is no secret in the catchment area of the tuner. BR has recently presented the once again pushed G65 AMG including the technical data on its website and of course we have to let you participate. The original 612PS / 1000NM became a full 640PS / 1122NM after the increase in performance and they will certainly ensure that drivers of the same type, but with series performance, will look amazed when they lose sight of the BR-Performance G65. Are you wondering why we are making so much effort to increase performance by 28PS? The G65 was measured beforehand and only achieved 542PS, which puts the currently achieved 640PS in a completely different light. BR-Performance did not post much more details than the result of the increase in performance, but in the current case that is easily enough. What we have been able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you with a summary below as usual.

These are the known changes to the series:
- Performance increase on 640PS / 1122NM (standard output ex works 612PS / 1000NM - measured 542PS & 1008NM) - (Chiptuning - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
