Preview: About 600PS in the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 Ford F-150

Reading time 3 Minutes

Forget that F-150 Hennessey Velociraptor 700 and forget that, too F-250 VelociRaptor SUV! What the American tuner now offers makes both variants just look puny. In the style of one Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6 × 6 Hennessey put a 6 × 6 version of the Ford F-150 with over 600PS on the wheels. And in contrast to the pimped variants of Kahn designBRABUS & Co. the Hennessey version is even armored if required. In general, one could think that the HENNESSEY VELOCIRAPTOR 6X6 was built for the next nuclear strike. Huge studded tires on 20 inch rims, a mighty front bar, a massive front bumper and a bi-turbo kit including a larger intercooler and a stainless steel exhaust system ensure over 600PS and a mighty appearance! Apart from the price, which is around 260.000 euros, there is not much to say at the moment because the whole thing is still virtual, at least in the pictures. But we're already looking forward to the first real vehicle. If we get even more information about further planned modifications to the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be notified immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos.

  1. Hello!
The front guard is only available from TÜV for the Rapor, or for older F-150 models?
My TÜV told me that I generally don't get that approved.
    Please reply.

    Best regards!

    Oliver F-150 driver

  2. Hi Oliver,

if we are properly informed, everything related to front bar approval in Germany is really complex. In any case, the part requires an operating license because since May 25, 2007 the EU has generally refused to grant EC type approval in accordance with EU Directive RREG 2005/66 / EC. There are exceptions, of course, but only if the bar hits an obstacle and automatically folds backwards. This is how the impact energy is absorbed. Since this is a product from the Hennessey Performance Shelf, and this provider comes from the USA, it is difficult to assume that neither an approval for the German TÜV is supplied nor the function described above is available. You will only find out more if you contact Hennessey Performance directly.
