Hardly to be seen here, but a successful vehicle in many other countries, the Hyundai Genesis Coupé belongs to the upper middle class. Of course, it will be difficult to make comparisons with a 6 Series BMW, but since the Coupé is built on the basis of the Hyundai Genesis Sedan, and this is clearly aimed at the upper middle class, you also have to have the Coupé above the BMW 4 Series or the C-Coupe from Mercedes to settle. The production version was already presented at the New York International Auto Show 2008 (March 21st to 30th) and since a comprehensive facelift was carried out in August 2012, the company was back on the road again. In the end it didn't count, in Europe the revised Genesis Coupé was offered in the period from October 2012 to the end of 2013, but nobody really wanted it. Hyundai has also recognized this and discontinued the offer for the time being due to lack of demand in Europe. It's a shame actually ...
The rim label Vossen Wheels presented a modified version on its website yesterday and definitely, at least for me, the Korean coupe would be worth considering if you want to drive something other than BMW / Mercedes or Audi. The Coupé stands on VWS-2 rims in an estimated 20 inches which, with their dark surface in matt gold, perfectly match the black paintwork of the body. Of course, lowering was also installed because this is the only way the new wheelset really comes into its own. In addition, there was apparently a sports exhaust system which, including 4 tailpipes, should provide a rich sound. There isn't much more to say about the car so we leave it with the pictures. If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
