So before we get to the vehicle and its modifications, we would like to ask you whether you know that there is an E212 AMG from the current Mercedes W55 E-Class? As far as we know it could possibly be the 5.5 liter V8 from the E550 or what do you think? The background to our question is the fact that this E-Class has an "E55" and an "AMG" sign on the rear. Regardless of which type it is, the E-Class definitely had to endure tuning. And what first thought comes to mind when you dive into tuning? For the masses, as well as for myself, the sporty sound-strong exhaust, the lowered chassis and of course a significantly increased performance (Chiptuning etc.) are high on the list of priorities. Tuning also means that the vehicle should receive a highly personal touch. The viewing angle of each individual vehicle owner is just as individual.

Statistics are mostly secondary, but not to be underestimated. After all, we are talking about 60% of all tuning enthusiasts who initially treated their vehicle to a new wheel set and only later dealt with further measures such as chip tuning etc. In comparison, the dimensions of the replaced rims are at least 1 inch above the sizes of the original factory rims. The often extremely price-intensive investment hardly leaves any deterrent marks because it actually pays off in retrospect and the design of the car is then presented in a remarkably new shine.

However, the manufacturer orients itself more towards the large target groups and less towards the individualists. On top of that, the rim selection is made using the manufacturer's configurator, and that was of course also the case with this Mercedes Benz e-class of type W212. If you put your vehicle together using a configurator, there is ultimately hardly any space for a distinctive uniqueness. However, there is still a possibility to swim against the current and to be able to detach yourself from the general public.
