SEAT and the street art artist PENG create inspiration in urban space: As part of the creative experiment #ThisIsSEAT, the street artist PENG, who is active in Frankfurt am Main and Offenbach, made a white SEAT Arona his personal canvas and decorated it with his typical figures and texts. An Instagram filter and Edgar Freecards were also created as part of the campaign. The postcards are available in restaurants throughout Frankfurt. The Art Car will appear at special hotspots in Frankfurt and become a visual highlight in the urban environment.
Make urban living space lively
The street artist PENG is omnipresent in Frankfurt and Offenbach. His figures, pictures, sayings and tags can be found on house walls, bridge piers and lampposts. His works can now also be admired at exhibitions. The artist himself remains anonymous. PENG is present in public through its characters and tags. Sometimes striking and colorful on house facades, bridges and railway carriages - sometimes more discreet and hidden on lanterns, electricity boxes and railings, he lets his art speak for itself.
PENG developed its street art over the years in the urban environment of Frankfurt. His characteristic style sharpened and developed a high recognition value. For PENG, however, it's not just his artworks, but the act itself that drives him. With his street art he works against the gray of the city. He wants to keep the urban living space alive and help shape it.
#SEATarona becomes an art car
The PENG plants are now also mobile on the streets of Frankfurt. To do this, the street artist took on a white SEAT Arona and designed it freely according to his ideas. With its iconic signs and slogans, the SEAT Arona has become a real eye-catcher and part of Frankfurt's urban street art. The Art Car's traveling exhibition lasts 21 days. During this time, the urban work of art can be seen at various hotspots in Frankfurt. For example in the Osthafenpark, on the Westend campus, in Alt-Sachsenhausen or in the station district.
But that's not all: an Instagram filter was created together with PENG. The filter can be found on the SEAT Instagram channel. As soon as you click on it, a virtual exhibition with artworks by PENG will open, which you can discover via your smartphone. It doesn't matter where you are.

The Spanish brand presents urban art, music, freestyle and culture life under the motto "This is SEAT". Most recently, twelve European photographers were out and about in Europe with selected SEAT models in order to portray the urban summer life of a selected city through their own personal style, stories and images. The SEAT brand is presented in an authentic, lively context of music, culture and sport. The world condenses into a wonderfully relaxed attitude to life. Life as a festival. Freedom and adventure, lots of fun - and a summer that should never end.
