Toyota GT86 2.0l with 218PS & 239NM by Mcchip-DKR

Reading time 2 Min.

The team around Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance has just presented a new performance-enhanced car on its website. You can see a modified Toyota GT86 with a 2.0l four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine which is now on the road with more powerful 218PS & 239NM and should cause some astonished looks on the highway. Even if the increase in performance does not seem really high at first glance, it is, because the four-cylinder of the GT86 is a purely naturally aspirated engine which, of course, has a significantly lower tuning potential without charging than many other engines that are powered by a turbocharger or compressor. The company didn't really post a lot more details, but what was important was included. What we have been able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you in a summary below. We also miss something, so if you should discover any further changes we would be happy if you let us know in the "comment box".

These are the details of the vehicle:

  • Performance increase from 205PS & 226Nm to 218PS & 239NM - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - info is pending)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

"The Tuning and Styling Blog" - we keep you up to date on the subject of car tuning and car styling with our tuning magazine and present you the latest tuned cars from all over the world every day.
Note: We ask for your understanding if not all tuning details are optimally translated. Sometimes we receive the information about the vehicles in a wide variety of national languages and we have our dear need to conjure up something understandable from it. We are always grateful for corrections, so don't be afraid to share them.
