It doesn't matter whether you drive a car with a conventional three-cylinder engine or even call a V8 your own - the desire for an increase in performance is often well-founded, even if you as the vehicle owner only superficially know about tuning. This Volvo C30 T5 owner, who had his C30 professionally upgraded, apparently harbored the same thoughts and wishes. And who do you think he hired to do the tuning? - It is no secret that ShifTech Engineering is known far beyond the regional area of activity for performance enhancements on vehicles of all kinds, which even on vehicles that are already very powerful at the factory provide a clearly noticeable increase in performance. At the moment the said C30 T5 in white / black is published on the website of ShifTech Engineering, of course we do not want to withhold its successful increase in performance.
Originally the Volvo had 220PS & 320NM torque, which thanks to modern tuning technology became a whopping 282PS & 495NM torque. This is undoubtedly a performance boost that will amaze owners of the same vehicle model with series production when the car unfolds its full performance and leaves the competition behind. Much more information about tuning the relatively rare C30 (Also called "Snow White's Coffin" based on the Volvo P1800ES) ShifTech does not announce on its website, but the published figures alone are convincing. As always, we present everything we could learn about the C30 in a summary below. These are the changes to the Volvo C30 T5
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension - more information is not available)
- two-tone optics (white / black - possibly ex works)
- darkened / tinted windows
- Wind deflectors on the doors
- Performance increase on 282PS & 495NM (standard output ex works 220PS & 320NM - not measured) - (chip tuning)
