A brand new TEKNE Graelion 4 x 4 with 7,5 t carries the LIONTRON booth at this year's ABENTEUER & ALLRAD. LIONTRON, the market leader in LiFePO4 batteries, is traveling to the offroad and overlanding trade fair in Bad Kissingen from October 21 to 24, 2021 under the slogan “Strong like a Lion”. LIONTRON has new high-performance products in its luggage for visitors, which guarantee independence and self-sufficiency, especially on long journeys: including the first underseat battery with 300 ampere hours, Arctic batteries that can be charged and discharged down to -30 ° C or the modulating induction hob 1500 watts, which is lighter and more space-saving than a gas stove. In order to inform trade fair visitors about vehicles that are as autonomous as possible, LIONTRON is presenting some practical examples on its stand Z104.
LIONTRON® underseat battery with 300 ampere hours
Due to the small dimensions of the specially designed underseat battery with 300Ah, it is particularly suitable for use in motorhomes for installation in the driver and / or passenger console. The poles are arranged on the side. Installation in the seat pedestals is uncomplicated and the batteries do not get in the way of the swivel seats above. In this way, a battery capacity of up to 300Ah can be generated under one seat - with a second LIONTRON under the other seat up to 600Ah in parallel.
In addition, the power pack offers a modular and sustainable battery design through exchangeable components, thanks to which LIONTRON can give a repair promise for a further 5 years in addition to the 10-year guarantee. Because the batteries can be screwed on, all cells and electronic components are screwed together and not glued, welded or soldered as with other makes. LIONTRON guarantees that all spare parts will be available for 15 years after the battery has been purchased.
The new LIONTRON Multi App automatically displays the various parameters of the previously selected up to four LiFePO4 batteries: including the state of charge, the current capacity, current strength and voltage of the batteries connected in parallel. With just one click, the user can also have the status of the individual batteries clearly displayed.
LIONTRON Arctic batteries can now be used down to -30 ° C
The new LIONTRON LX Arctic is the first LiFePO4 battery that can be discharged at ambient temperatures down to -30 ° C and charged without restrictions. The Arctic version with 12,8 volts is available with 100, 150 or 200 ampere hours and also as an under seat version. A 25,6Ah battery is also available as an Arctic for 100 volts. Buyers of LIONTRON LX batteries without the Arctic function can also retrofit their batteries.
The trend towards gas-free motorhomes not only creates more self-sufficiency
The disadvantages of gas operation in the motorhome are obvious: gas has to be brought in and carried in space-consuming, heavy gas bottles or tanks in the vehicle. More and more mobile homes are therefore switching to diesel heating systems with integrated hot water preparation. When refrigerating the food, the switch from gas-powered to compressor refrigerators has already been completed. In addition, increasingly efficient solar systems, LiFePO4 batteries and inverters support the use of electrical consumers. This also goes hand in hand with weight reduction, more space and more safety. Now the last bastion is falling: the gas-powered stove. Instead, the LIONTRON vehicles presented at the fair have induction hotplates made of black crystal glass with 1500 watts.
