Last year's triumph in the FIA ​​R-GT Cup is to be repeated in the new season. It would then be the fourth class win in a row.

The key figures for the two Formula 4 series are rising steadily: on average, more than 28 young drivers start each race, and a maximum of 34 monoposti equipped with Abarth engines are used. For the seventh edition of the ADAC Formula 4 powered by Abarth and its Italian counterpart, which is about to enter the eighth season, a chassis-engine package that has been praised by all insiders has been selected. The central component is the Abarth 414TF T-Jet engine, which generates 1400 kW (118 hp) from a displacement of 160 cc. It is still one of the most frequently used and most reliable engines in the international premium junior series. At the beginning of the 2021 season, the Abarth Power Unit is once again showing its potential in the F4UAE, the Formula 4 of the United Arab Emirates.

Young drivers can prepare for the new European racing season in the best possible way there. Enzo Trulli, the son of the former Formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli, is one of the big names that will already be racing in the Emirates. Hamda Al Qubaisi, who drove in the Italian F2020 in 4, will also hunt for points in her home country. There are also other talented starters, such as the Spaniard Pepe Marti, the American Enzo Scionti and the German Jonas Ried. The Middle East series will be held in January and February, while the season opener for the German and Italian F4 championships will take place on May 16 in Oschersleben and Le Castellet.

Abarth Racing will be back in the rally world in the coming season: The successful Abarth 124 rally continues the tradition of the brand's legendary racing cars with the scorpion in the logo - the car takes part in six of the eight FIA-ERC events . As part of the European championship, the third Abarth Rally Cup will take place. For its 2021 edition, high prize money will again be awarded: In each race, the winner will receive € 10.000, while the second and third place finishers will “win” € 8.000 and € 6.000, respectively. The championship title in the Abarth Rally Cup 2021 is worth 25.000 euros. The successor to the Italian Andrea Mabellini, who also won the FIA ​​R-GT Cup in 2020, has to fight for the title in four races on asphalt and two on gravel.

The 2021 season starts from May 6th to 8th with the Islas Canarias Rally on asphalt. Then the two gravel rallies in Poland (June 18-20) and Latvia (July 1-3) are scheduled. The season will then continue in July and August with the Roma Capitale Rally and the Czech Barum Rally Zlín. The season finale will take place in Hungary from October 22nd to 24th. The Abarth Rally Cup 2021 is already fixed, but there will certainly be no shortage of appearances for the Abarth 124 rally at the WRC World Championship.
