Premium manufacturer BBS has reinvented the wheel and will be launching selected flow-forming wheels under the new “BBS Unlimited” label logo with unique technology from July 2022. "BBS Unlimited" reveals almost unlimited possibilities to individualists. From the start, the CI-R design with a 5×117,5 bolt circle will be adaptable to almost all vehicles. An innovative wheel system ensures perfect centering and accuracy of fit. In addition, "BBS Unlimited" allows an individual wheel configuration ex works. More flow-forming bikes are to follow. The new label logo of the premium bike manufacturer promises endless possibilities, which is also visually reminiscent of the mathematical infinity sign. As part of "BBS Unlimited", the basic CI-R wheel, which is manufactured using the flow-forming process, is connected to BBS hub adapters, vehicle-specific centering rings and innovative fastening material. As a result, the wheel manufacturer from the Black Forest, which belongs to the KW automotive group, achieves a maximum variety of applications and flexibility and can cover almost all brands and models represented on the market in the future. And if a vehicle is to be changed, the chosen wheel can be mounted on the new vehicle with just a few adjustments.

“BBS Unlimited” – suitable for all vehicles

BBS initially offers the design CI-R as "BBS Unlimited" in the dimensions 19, 20 and 21 inches and the inner widths 8, 8,5, 9, 9,5, 10, 10,5, 11, 11,5 and 12 customs on. More flow-forming bikes are to follow. Interested parties are only given the bolt circle (5 × 117,5). With the help of so-called hub adapters in widths of 14 to 50 millimeters, the selected basic wheel can be adapted to the bolt circle of the desired vehicle. At the same time, the offset of the basic wheel can be precisely changed at any time. The hub adapters are made from a high-quality aluminum alloy that is then anodized and are extremely corrosion-resistant.

"BBS Unlimited" wheel bolts

The hub adapters are attached to the wheel hub using short-head wheel bolts or wheel nuts. The wheel is mounted on the hub adapter with wheel bolts specially developed for the "BBS Unlimited" program. They are made of steel or titanium. The loose taper collar compensates for tolerances and torsional forces. An integrated hexagon socket is designed to prevent damage to the wheel when tightening the wheel bolts. Centering rings made of high-strength polyamide composite material ensure that the hub adapter and wheel are optimally centered so that no vibrations can occur.

BBS is becoming more colourful: as soon as the market launch in July 2022, interested parties can choose their favorite from a wealth of color options for the basic wheel, collision protection, hub cap and valve cap and thus configure their BBS wheel individually. The CI-R base wheels are available in Black Satin, Bronze Satin, Racing Gold Satin, Glossy Diamond Black, White Gold Satin, Indigo Blue Satin, Ceramic Polished and Platinum Silver. The collision protection can be selected in black, red, blue, yellow, bronze, stainless steel and gold according to taste. Valve caps can be ordered in the colors black, red, blue, yellow, chrome, gold bronze. The BBS hub cap can also be customized. It is available in black, red, blue, yellow, carbon, chrome or bronze with the logo colors silver, grey/white, silver/red, bronze or gold with two or three-dimensional embossing.
