Think BIG! Best of all Big 3! The 100.000 horsepower festival “American Horsepower Show 2021” will take place for the third time this year on September 12, 2021 at the Dinslaken harness racing track. After the successful premiere in 3, the re-edition of the American Horsepower Show in 2018 and the Corona break in 2019, the big US Car Festival on the harness racing track in Dinslaken is entering its third round! The huge area with southern flair and historical buildings offers space for several thousand American cars.

As usual, the third event will also take place in the infield of the harness racing track - with an even larger dealer mile, American Food Festival and Swap Meet. And there will again be a Show & Shine stage with moderation and vehicle evaluation - in which the top 30 will be chosen again.

The American Horsepower Show - the name says it all

"We're looking forward to American cars of all US brands and model years - from hot rods and customs to road cruisers and muscle cars to pick-ups and vans," says Thomas Frankenstein, editor-in-chief of the online magazine AmeriCar.de, who will again this year takes over the moderation of the Show & Shine competition. Throughout the day, the participants will have the opportunity to drive up to the stage in the infield with their vehicle in order to present it to the audience.

Meet & Greet: Klaus Borrmann from DMAX '"Cash for Chromium"

On September 12th, the US car expert Klaus Borrmann and part of his team will come to the American Horsepower Show in Dinslaken for the “Meet & Greet”! The Hamburg boy from the TV series “Cash for Chromium” on DMAX should be known to many. The TV format accompanies Klaus Borrmann and his team through the ups and downs of daily business with top-class vintage cars. The man from Hamburg is coming to the American Horsepower Show for the first time and is signing autographs for US car and “Cash for Chrome” fans. And in addition to selfies and autographs, there is also merchandise!

"Movie Cars" - special show

At the third edition of the “American Horsepower Show” on September 12, 2021 at the harness racing track in Dinslaken, the organizers will be presenting a special US car show for the first time. “We chose the American movie cars as the topic,” explains Thomas Frankenstein from E-Mags Media GmbH. “There are so many cool films and TV series with American cars, from the GMC van from 'A-Team' to the DeLorean from 'Back to the Future'” - there is something for every film and US car fan. The owners of the film cars show their exhibits on their own 900 square meter area in the middle of the American Horsepower Show and are available for photos and questions. American Food Festival - a US candy store for the first time

For the first time, the gastromile will become the big American Food Festival! Around the Show & Shine stage, the restaurateurs have set up with American specialties: There are, among other things, delicious burgers & pulled chicken from Bookwood's BBQ as well as American hot dogs & American finger food. For dessert, the restaurateurs offer American soft ice, bubble waffles, donuts and American candy. We also have crepes from Miss Mandy's Rolling Diner, curry sausages and more bratwurst creations from Toby's Original German Bratwurst, freshly baked pizza from Pizza Toni and coffee specialties from Espresso Flitzer. For the sweet tooth, there is also a US candy store for the first time.

Dealer Mile & Swap Meet

There will again be a large dealer area in the center of the harness racing track. Numerous exhibitors, from merchandise dealers to car care dealers and jewelry & accessories shops to various car dealers, offer their goods or services here. Here visitors will find the right US license plate for the American, decoration for the home or the garage or even the next car! There is also another Swap Meet - a flea market for used car parts. Participation is open to all private people who have scoured their cellars, garages or repair shops for usable and unneeded parts.

Mr Horsepower Contest

There is a miss election at pretty much every US car meeting! Not at the American Horsepower Show! In keeping with the name of the event, there is a choice of “Mr. Horsepower “- sponsored by AmeriCar.de! You can apply for this from now on. The first three winners of the contest can expect great prizes. After the selection of the “Top 30” in the afternoon, the winners will, as the crowning glory, drive their vehicles to the show stage again to receive the coveted trophies.
