Brigade Electronics shows new vehicle turning alarm!

Brigade Electronics, the market leader in vehicle safety systems, has launched a new turn alarm that warns road users at risk of vehicles turning. The bbs-TI is installed on the passenger side of the vehicle and generates a synchronized warning tone when the indicators are activated, so that endangered road users are informed about the planned turn of the vehicle. The new system uses Brigade's existing White Sound® broadband technology, which enables pedestrians, cyclists, etc. to instantly locate which direction the sound is coming from. White Sound® has a more pleasant sound than conventional acoustic warning systems. In addition, the sound is lost quickly and can only be heard in the danger zone, which reduces unnecessary noise pollution. For vehicles that are used in several countries, White Sound® alarms offer the additional advantage that they are generally recognizable because the language barriers as with traditional voice alarms are eliminated.

bbs-TI offers the following features:

• Optical and acoustic turning alarm to warn road users at risk
• Suitable for use in several countries - no language barrier
• Optional muting of the alarm during night operation
• Option to activate the alarm only below a certain speed
• Synchronizes bbs White Sound® technology with the vehicle's turn signal
• Installation for left or right turns possible
• Meets regulations and laws that require an "audible maneuvering alarm to warn endangered road users" when the vehicle is turning, including the Direct Vision standard in London
