Formula 1 is the premier class of car racing. It is the big dream of most racing drivers to one day sit in a racing car and win races or even world championships. The racing teams are often run by rich owners, like Dietrich Mateschitz, who of course want to see success with their investments. Not only fans have been critical of Mercedes' dominance in recent years. The other cars had too little chance. Next season there will be another new opportunity for the various manufacturers. With rule changes to the car, the field should be closer together again and thus offer more excitement and different winners. We look at the most important changes.

F1 - the new car

A main focus is on the aerodynamic regulations. In recent years, the F1 cars have become increasingly faster, but due to the “dirty air” in the corners, it was not possible to keep close behind. This prevented many overtaking maneuvers and therefore offered less excitement. Next year, fans of sports betting should have more excitement again. Sports betting only shows how many fans Formula 1 really has. Many providers now have their own category and the best betting provider in comparison also dedicates its own page to Formula 1. This is where you see how many different bets on the races are actually possible.

The winning bets will be exciting again, especially next year. Then there should be several teams that drive close behind each other and fight for victory. In order to reduce the "dirty air", the front wing is being redesigned. Next year this will be more neutral and should allow better airflow for the rear car. Currently this has been reduced so much that drivers needed more drive to follow the car in front. And if that was still partially possible, the tires were worn out much more than those of the leading car. Tire covers should also help with this goal. They are supposed to keep the draft clean and restrict the teams with the possibility of experimentation.

There are further innovations in the rear wing. Only the DRS part of the current wing will remain. The new rear wing is more rounded, instead of continuing to rely on the straight end plate and additional adjustments. This directs the airflow up and over the following car rather than directly on top of it. Not only is the “dirty air” being worked on, but also the downforce of the vehicles. The underbody is changed so that more downforce can be generated through the earth effect, while less downforce from the front of the car disturbs. This should lead to higher cornering speeds. In addition, the weight of the cars will be 5% heavier. The main reason for this is the larger tires, which will be a total of 14 kilograms heavier than this year.

F1 - the new car

After years of Mercedes domination, Formula 1 seems to offer more excitement next season. We'll get a foretaste this season, when Red Bull Racing has the chance for the title. Next year this duel should then spread to the whole field. Most of the teams are already in development for the new car and McLaren in particular has a good chance of becoming a winning team. It could also be interesting from a German point of view. Mick Schuhmacher is following behind at the Haas this year. However, since the start of the season, Haas has only focused on the new car so that you can have a say next season.
