A revolutionary high-tech bomb, as announced, the performance specialists of POSAIDON burst on the Essen Motor Show a few days ago: With the POSAIDON Evolution One they presented the world's first multi-part full carbon rim! In order to reduce the unsprung and rotating masses, which have a significant influence on the longitudinal and transverse dynamics of a vehicle, the POSAIDON developers were able to reduce the weight of their innovative Evolution One to a sensational 4,9 kilograms in the dimensions 8,5 × 20 inches . The extreme lightweight construction has no negative influence on the stability:

The carrying capacity of the Evolution One is almost gigantic with 1.500 kg. In anticipation of the market launch already scheduled for next spring, the two-part POSAIDON Evolution One will be offered in Gardemaß 20 Zoll. The range of available widths ranges from 8,5 to 12,5 inches. Thanks to their connection via a central locking system, both the offset depth and pitch circle of the Evolution One are highly variable, so that almost every ET and each bolt circle can be produced - exactly fitting on the basis of the parameters specified by the vehicle.

"100% Made in Germany"

No less individuality is the POSAIDON Evolution One, which by the way is allowed to adhere to the label "100% Made in Germany", regarding its appearance. Whether glossy or matt clear lacquer, staining glaze or full-color lacquering: Surface finishes are almost completely feasible according to customer requirements. The POSAIDON Evolution One has an integral structure structure. The fully integrated RFID sensor in each rim transfers its data via the NFC standard so that the structural pressure can be read out via a special smartphone app. The same graphically visualizes whether the rim has undergone a structural change, for example in the case of an accident or a fierce pothole.

By means of this impact display, the driver himself is able to check whether the rims are still ready to drive or have to be repaired. The patented manufacturing process of the Evolution One allows only the innovative, integral design of this rim. The used RTM method and the device are protected by patent (EP 2588297 B1, US 9393743 BB). The price list of the POSAIDON Evolution One starts at a unit price of 2.499 Euro incl. VAT.
